how to get an image format flowchar?

Hello,everybody, I have a problem while using context to create some flowcharts. The beginning of my tex source file looks like: \setupoutput[pdftex] \usemodule[chart] Naturally I got a flowchart in pdf version. But a pdf version flowchart is not suitable for inserting into a paper or a report. Then I try to use software to convert it from pdf format into some other imgage formats. But none of them was satisfied. I wonder how can I direct get a flowchart in some imgage formats (e.g. in png, jpg format) from the source tex file. Unable to customize publication list

Hi, another m-bib problem from it.comp.software.tex ... it seems that none of the "list customizations" options (i.e. neither the \setuppublicationlist nor \setuplist[pubs] allows to change the numbercommand parameter (e.g. to put brackets around the bibref number in the list); a quick glance at the log shows that the numbercommand is getting overruled by \initializepublist ... how to cope with this? -- Giuseppe "Oblomov" Bilotta

two problems - vertical align

hi, I have two problems and I will be pleased if someone could help me. I'm working on my final work for school and the first problem: \title Abstrakt (in Czech) \title Abstract (in English) I need to have both of them on one page! (each about 10 lines of text) but ConTeXt makes two pages :-) ----- My second problem is that I have a page width about 10 lines of text where I give thanks to everyone who participates on my work and I need that paragraph align to the bottom of the page I have tryed this: \setupalign[bottom] but nothing was happen :-( I'm using Linux Debian and This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.14159-1.10b-2.1 (Web2C 7.4.5) (format=cont-en 2004.1.16) 20 JAN 2004 10:59 ConTeXt ver: 2003.1.31 fmt: 2004.1.16 int: english mes: english thank you very much for your time! Localizing the bibliography

Hi all, as a follow-up to a request on it.comp.software.tex (ya know, I managed to trick a couple of Italians in using ConTeXt ;)): the m-bib module and companion files have a bunch of strings that get inserted in the bibliography list; some of them are localizable (e.g. the "and" or the "et.al."), others are not; the idea would be that all the strings should be localizable; a couple of nonparametrized strings that come to mind are "pages" or "PhD thesis". -- Giuseppe "Oblomov" Bilotta

Hello, I'm just switching from LaTeX to ConTeXt. Is there already a module with similar functionalities as the typearea¹ package that comes with LaTeX? ¹ typearea comes with KOMA-Script and permits to automatically calculate the right margins with respect to some typographic rules. Footnotes with(out) backgrounds

Hello, a user on it.comp.software.tex just discovered a bug in handling footnotes when backgrounds are present. Brief example: \starttext \setupfootnotes[rule=on] \setupbackground[topoffset=7pt,bottomoffset=7pt] % \startlocalfootnotes[n=0] \startbackground La {\bf locomozione} è un tipo di spostamento reso possibile nell'uomo dal movimento coordinato degli arti inferiori, degli arti superiori e da movimenti di torsione del tronco\footnote{PAOLO CERRETELLI, Fisiologia dell'esercizio, 2001}. \stopbackground \placefootnotes Possiamo facilmente comprendere come questa descrizione rispecchi sia la meccanica della {\bf marcia} sia quella della {\bf corsa}\footnote{Altro commento}. % \placelocalfootnotes % \stoplocalfootnotes \stoptext The commented lines have been added by me during the testing; indeed, local footnotes work, but standard footnotes don't. If anyone has any exeprience with Unicode I would like the flexibility this provides, as the euro is just a sample case. btw I have searched CTAN for UnicodeRegular and eurose, and no hits. If anyone happens to know which package bundles either of these two fonts I'd appreciate it. Especially if you have it working in MiKTeX 2.4. Thanks all. Christopher

I am trying to find a euro symbol for my work. I have \def\euro{\uchar{32}{172}} [character € which I got from some XSL-FO literature I downloaded] and I use \defineXMLentity [euro] {\euro} as I am transforming from XML. What I then get is ! Font \unicodefont=UnicodeRegular20 at 10.0pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found. MikTeX has a comprehensive package manager, and I have tried installing packages "uni" [billed as "The Universal Font"] and "universa" but no joy. Does anyone know where to get this font?
