Imposition features/limitations.

On pages 39 ff and section 3.6 of _The Context Manual_ there are examples of different page imposition methods. I wonder if this has been extended to the level of true prepress software, with compensation for paper thickness and/or skew when folded and cut? Or is it just a demonstration of what could be done? Layout definitions ..

Hi, I have 2 questions: 1. Is there anyway to answer the messages on this archive without replying to the corresponding received mail? I would like to update a previous post but can't manage to do it. 2. I would like to define a new layout that does not contain left and right margins. This layout is going to divide my page to 4 parts as a matrix of 2x2. How can i do that ? Is there anyway to identify each part of them in the same way as we identify the left and right margins within the default layout ? Is this in relation with margin and opposite blocks ? Many thanks. bTABLE rogue column widths

Hi all. I have the following code, used to set quotations with over-large quote marks either side. I use the bTABLE/eTABLE model because it is easy, and because it allows for the variable width of the quotation part (the middle column) and for it to carry over into multiple lines. When this code is run, the first one works as expected (the cell containing the quote is the width of the quote text). The second one produces a quote cell which expands so that the table fills the whole width of the page, even though the quote text itself is thinner than the previous one. I have left the lines in the table to show the problem. This runs on live.contextgarden.net and shows the same behaviour. Any thoughts on how to fix it to make the second one work like the first? Movie as externalfigure

Hi all, probably I'm missing something trivial, but I can't make context include a mov-file. Here is my input: \starttext \externalfigure[mdmovie.mov] [label=md,width=4cm,height=4cm,preview=yes] \stoptext I don't get a movie in the pdf resulting from `texexec --pdf`, only this message seems to be a hint: figures : figure mdmovie.mov is not preset I found this problem in the archive; it was solved by specifying height and width. But I did already specify both height and width, so what's the problem? The movie is located in the same directory as the tex-file, so it has to be found, too. (And I guess 'preset' is not a typo anyway, is it?) I couldn't find anything helpful in the docs or the wiki, either. My version is the latest beta: pdfeTeX, Version 3.14159-1.10a-RC3-2.1 (Web2C 7.4.3) ConTeXt ver: 2004.8.18 fmt: 2004.9.16 int: english mes: english Thanks in advance, Eckhart

Thank you to Tobias Hilbricht for the script. It is exactly what I was looking for. I notice that the command "testfont" is not a command with the backslash "\" Is there any way to create one single file with a \sample page for each font installed in my computer?
