Overfull boxes using m-cweb

Hello, I am running into overfull boxes when including a weaved cweb file into a context document. The original reference to the cwebmac.tex file (the plain TeX macro) is commented out and replaced by \usemodule[cweb]. The cweb macros appear to expand something into \*11ptmmmt* which seems to have something to do with it. Is there anyone here with experience and deep (Con)TeX(t) knowledge who understands what is happening? compound titles, lists and headers

Dear list, my publisher forces me to set different things as titles, in headers and table of contents. In some cases \nolist and \nomarking aren't enough. here are my actual definitions: ---- \def\Untertitel#1{\blank[3pt]{\ss\bf #1}\blank} % ok \def\Titel#1#2{{\nohyphens\chapter{#1}\Untertitel{#2}}} % ok \def\KomplexTitel#1#2#3{{\writetolist[chapter]{#3}\nohyphens\title{#1}\U ntertitel{#2}}} ---- with ---- \start \setupheadertexts[][manual entry][part][] % normally defined as [][chapter][part][] \KomplexTitel{Main chapter title}{chapter subtitle}{toc entry} Much text \stop % of other headertext ---- Real life example: \start \setupheadertexts [][Vorwort][][] \KomplexTitel{Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf}% {Vorwort von Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott}% {Vorwort Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott:\\Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf} ... Now there stay two issues: 1. I'd like to get a four-parameter command that can set the header text also. 2. I must get a line feed into the toc, but neither \\ nor \crlf works. Please help! Thanks. listings.sty

Hello, I suggested to the author of the very feature rich LaTeX-Listings package, Carsten Heinz, to port this package to ConTeXt, and it seems, that he is interested. But before doing it, there are some questions: * What do Hans and other people thing about that? * listings.sty uses keyval.sty, how is the proper ConTeXt-way to do the same things as keyval, or should listings stay with keyval? I've just discovered, that the problem is only with : and ; but not with ? and ! Here my example files: file env.tex: \startenvironment env \useencoding[ffr] \mainlanguage[fr] \stopenvironment file test.tex: \environment env \starttext No space before : nor ; bla: bla; bla? bla! \stoptext Could someone help? critical editions in context

Sorry if this is a double post; I sent this message on Friday, and I think it somehow got lost. In March/April 2002, Hans and Idris had an interesting exchange about the topic "critical editions in context" here in ntg-context; the main question was whether the functionality of edmac could be implemented in context. I'd be curious to know whether anything came out of it, I couldn't find any follow-up. Best Thomas

pdfTeX questions

Hello, I have some questions concerning pdfTeX, the following example illustrates the problems: \setupoutput[pdftex] \enableregime[il1] \pdfinfo{ /Title (\"Ubung) /Author (Münster) } % neither \"U nor ü work \pdfcatalog{ /PageMode /FullScreen } % this works well \pdfdest num 1 fitbh % I would like to get the same result as in LaTeX with % \hypersetup{pdfstartview={FitBH}} \starttext some text \externalfigure[example][width=5cm] some text, jpeg-figure is shifted down and to the left. The file example.jpg is attached. Wrapping \type{}

In my BNF module I use " as an active character that begins and ends terminals in the grammar: <regex>: <branch> ; <branch>, "\|", <regex>. Now, the above doesn't quite work as written, as \ is still active (and so is, in fact | as we're really inside a \starttabulate. What I would like for the "" pair to do is work as a wrapper for \type{}, so that everything in-between is passed on to \type{}. Is there a way of getting them to do that? This is my current definition: \gdef"% {\ifBNFoutsidestring% \global\BNFoutsidestringfalse% \begingroup% \BNFunsetcatcodes% \catcode`\"\@@active% \@@bnfterminalstart% \else% \@@bnfterminalstop% \endgroup% \global\BNFoutsidestringtrue% \fi} I figured something like \long\gdef"#1"% {\type{#1}} might work, but it didn't. It chokes on "." where . is also an activated character for terminating a production in the grammar. Any suggestions on how to go about this? \setupURL issues

\setupURL [color=blue] seems buggy. Try this: \setupcolors [state=start] \setupinteraction [state=start] \setupurl [color=blue] \useURL[one][http://www.google.com/] \starttext Why the hell is \from[one] wrapping so badly? \stoptext You will (hopefully...or something) notice that the http:// appears above and slightly to the left of www.google.com in the sentence. remove \setupurl[...] and it works fine, rendering it green. It also works fine if you remove the color=blue and add style=type instead or whatever. patterns

Hi, The last few years we have encountered problems with changes in pattern files and names (dutch was dropped, czech was invalid, and us filenames also changed in undocumented ways). To get a bit more control over this can of worms, we need a test file that can be added to the tex live test suite.
