compound titles, lists and headers

Dear list, my publisher forces me to set different things as titles, in headers and table of contents. In some cases \nolist and \nomarking aren't enough. here are my actual definitions: ---- \def\Untertitel#1{\blank[3pt]{\ss\bf #1}\blank} % ok \def\Titel#1#2{{\nohyphens\chapter{#1}\Untertitel{#2}}} % ok \def\KomplexTitel#1#2#3{{\writetolist[chapter]{#3}\nohyphens\title{#1}\U ntertitel{#2}}} ---- with ---- \start \setupheadertexts[][manual entry][part][] % normally defined as [][chapter][part][] \KomplexTitel{Main chapter title}{chapter subtitle}{toc entry} Much text \stop % of other headertext ---- Real life example: \start \setupheadertexts [][Vorwort][][] \KomplexTitel{Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf}% {Vorwort von Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott}% {Vorwort Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott:\\Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf} ... Now there stay two issues: 1. I'd like to get a four-parameter command that can set the header text also. 2. I must get a line feed into the toc, but neither \\ nor \crlf works. Please help! Thanks. startappendices creates an extra empty page

Hi, When is use \startappendices \stopappendices to create appendices, I get an extra empty page. Is there a way to solve this? If I put another chapter after the \stopappendices statement, then there is no empty page. See the following test: \setupoutput[pdftex] \starttext \chapter[]{Chapter} This a chapter \section[]{Section} This a section \startappendices \chapter[]{Appendix} This the appendix \stopappendices % \chapter[]{extra} % This extra \stoptext Any suggestions? Hi, I want to see active URL in my pdf document in similar way that is used by <a....>....</a> tag in html So I have written \setupinteraction[state=start] then \useexternaldocument [doc:Molik] [http://zskl.zsk.p.lodz.pl/~morawski/local/Praca dyplomowa p. Molika.pdf] [Metody routingu unikastowego] then I try to use \from, \goto; \url and even if I see the link, it is not active then I try: \useURL [Molik] [http://zskl.zsk.p.lodz.pl/~morawski/local/Praca dyplomowa p. Molika.pdf] and \from, \goto; \url result is less or more the same. Where is the problem? What I have missed in documentation? Michal Morawski

Euler math again (virtually)

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone else was interested in the Euler math font. I was a bit frustrated in its incomplete coverage of certain symbols (e.g. delimiters, radicals), but then I discovered the Virtual Euler Math fonts/eulervm for LaTeX. It yields a set of virtual fonts (zeu*.vf) that make the glyph set look a lot like the default computer-modern math fonts. <http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/help/Catalogue/entries/ eulervm.html?action=/tex-archive/fonts/> I've come up with a math collection (math-zeu) and a combined typescript file (type-zeu) that seem to give good enough results. Does anyone do enough math typesetting to want to test "zeuler" out? I've gotten good enough results this evening, but I don't have a lot of sophisticated formulae lying around to do a full test. Does anyone have some semi- demanding (non-AMS-territory) math for me to try? typesetting chapter--label for cross references

I'd like to display a cross reference, using a en-dash to separate the chapter number from the text being cross referenced. In the example below, if you look at label attached to the example caption "A Sample XML file," you'll see that it is typeset as Example~1--1 however if you look at the cross reference to the example, it is typeset as Example~1.1 how do I change the period (.) separator in the cross reference to an en-dash separator (--). ----- \defineenumeration [example] [location=serried, text=Example, before=\blank, after=\blank, way=bychapter, style=italic, separator=--] \starttext \chapter{One} \in{Example}[ex:Simple-doc] has the chapter number separated from the example number by a period, and not an en-dash. \example[ex:Simple-doc] A Sample XML file \startXML <?xml version="1.0"?> <?xml-stylesheet href="simple-doc.xsl" type="text/xsl"?> \stopXML \stoptext -----

problem with tables

Hi Hans, I've found the following problem after I instaled last beta. With my previous version (9,10/2002?) it worked fine. Mac input encodings

Hi all, Prompted by this weekend's discussion of input regimes, I took a look at the one for the Mac's Western encoding (initiated by Michel Bovani), and hopefully revised it to be nearly complete for characters (missing four in the range 128-255). Mac users might like to take a look at this file, and verify that it does what I suggest. Usage: put the attached regi-mac.tex in your path, and either rebuild your format files (i.e., texexec --make ...), or explicitly \input this file in your source.
