Hopefully there are not more issues as we need to make a tex live 2025 snapshot this month. non standard tag for structure

Hans, with the following source, veraPDF-1.29.11 complains about a non-standard tag named /documentpart: \setuptagging[state=start] \setupbackend [format=PDF/A-3a, intent=sRGB IEC61966-2.1, level=0] \starttext whatever \pdfbackendactualtext{abc}{hoh} \stoptext The problematic object reads: 4 0 obj << /K 28 0 R /ParentTree 5 0 R /RoleMap << /break /NonStruct /document /Document /documentpart /DocumentFragment /navigationpage /NonStruct >> /Type /StructTreeRoot >> endobj If I replace (according to https://opensource.adobe.com/dc-acrobat-sdk-docs/pdfstandards/PDF32000_2008…) /documentpart with /Part, validation in veraPDF is perfectly fine. BTW, /DocumentFragment seems not to be included in PDF-1.7 (https://opensource.adobe.com/dc-acrobat-sdk-docs/pdfstandards/PDF32000_2008…) According to https://github.com/veraPDF/veraPDF-model/blob/4c8e855b68546547971121281ff2a…, /DocumentFragment seems to be only available in PDF-2.0. Providing a patch for strc-tag.lmt would be easy, but this would affect to ua-2 (which may use /DocumentFragment). Many thanks for your help, Pablo

I've been writing bilingual documentation lately. When I switched the font class, I found that it was back to the default size. hi, As described in the title, how to reset fallbackfont? I have created a number of Chinese typescripts and related fallbackfont (latin). However, in the actual operation process, I found that if you want to switch different fallbackfont, you must change the bodyfont at the same time (\setupbodyfont). The following is an example. month form \currentdate in Roman numerals

Dear list, I would like to get the current month in Roman numerals (just now, it would be XII for December). The best I get is: \currentdate[\cldcontext{converters['R'] (tonumber(os.date("\letterpercent m", os.date(os.time()))))}] This strikes me as too complex (even for someone who cannot code). Is there now simpler way to write that? Just in case it may be relevant, this is part of the full day reference. Many thanks for your help, Pablo

Right-to-left natural tables

Hello, Are natural tables still the recommended table mechanism in ConTeXt? How can I get the order of cells in each row reversed (going from right to left)? \starttext \placetable{Caption} {\bTABLE \bTR \bTD One \eTD \bTD two \eTD \eTR \bTR \bTD Three \eTD \bTD fourteen \eTD \eTR \eTABLE} \setupalign[r2l] \placetable{Caption} {\bTABLE \bTR \bTD One \eTD \bTD two \eTD \eTR \bTR \bTD Three \eTD \bTD fourteen \eTD \eTR \eTABLE} \stoptext I expect the second table to completely mirror the first one. Though the cell contents (as well as the caption) are reversed, the order of cells in the row are the same as in the first table. For columns, we have a *direction* key, but I couldn't find anything like that for natural tables. Thanks for your help, Mohammad

Quads not appearing

Hi, I have an xml setup like the one below. In my real document the qquads in xml:index-entry don't appear, but I haven't been able to reproduce the problem in the MWE. What could be the cause of such an issue? I don't know if this is helpful, but I had to change the line \xmlfilter{#1}{/term/command(xml:term)}\qquad\xmlfilter{#1}{/loc/command(xml :loc)} to \xmlfilter{#1}{/term/command(xml:term)} -\qquad- \xmlfilter{#1}{/loc/command(xml:loc)} to make the qquad appear.
