Overfull boxes using m-cweb

Hello, I am running into overfull boxes when including a weaved cweb file into a context document. The original reference to the cwebmac.tex file (the plain TeX macro) is commented out and replaced by \usemodule[cweb]. The cweb macros appear to expand something into \*11ptmmmt* which seems to have something to do with it. Is there anyone here with experience and deep (Con)TeX(t) knowledge who understands what is happening? compound titles, lists and headers

Dear list, my publisher forces me to set different things as titles, in headers and table of contents. In some cases \nolist and \nomarking aren't enough. here are my actual definitions: ---- \def\Untertitel#1{\blank[3pt]{\ss\bf #1}\blank} % ok \def\Titel#1#2{{\nohyphens\chapter{#1}\Untertitel{#2}}} % ok \def\KomplexTitel#1#2#3{{\writetolist[chapter]{#3}\nohyphens\title{#1}\U ntertitel{#2}}} ---- with ---- \start \setupheadertexts[][manual entry][part][] % normally defined as [][chapter][part][] \KomplexTitel{Main chapter title}{chapter subtitle}{toc entry} Much text \stop % of other headertext ---- Real life example: \start \setupheadertexts [][Vorwort][][] \KomplexTitel{Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf}% {Vorwort von Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott}% {Vorwort Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott:\\Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf} ... Now there stay two issues: 1. I'd like to get a four-parameter command that can set the header text also. 2. I must get a line feed into the toc, but neither \\ nor \crlf works. Please help! Thanks. Bib module and prefix=+

Hi, How can the bib module and \setuphead[chapter][prefix=+] be made to coexist? The following example works, but if you uncomment the \setuphead, the citations are broken and the reference list vanishes: \setupoutput[pdftex] % uncomment this line and it breaks %\setuphead[chapter][prefix=+] \usemodule[bib] \usemodule[bibltx] \setupbibtex[database={xampl.bib}] \setuppublications[refcommand=num] % makes no real difference %\setuppublicationlist[title=\chapter] \version[temporary] \starttext \chapter[chapt]{A Chapter} Some citations: \cite[article-full] \cite[inbook-full] \cite[manual- full]. This is chapter~\in[chapt]. \completepublications[criterium=all] \stoptext Any help much appreciated! Hello, I suggested to the author of the very feature rich LaTeX-Listings package, Carsten Heinz, to port this package to ConTeXt, and it seems, that he is interested. But before doing it, there are some questions: * What do Hans and other people thing about that? * listings.sty uses keyval.sty, how is the proper ConTeXt-way to do the same things as keyval, or should listings stay with keyval? TOC, listalternative d, ragged right, interaction

Hi, I'm trying to alter the formatting of the table of contents for a document of chapters and sections. After searching the ConTeXt manuals, source and the list archive, I've only four more things I'd like to change. This is where I ask for your help. My current setup (for the table of contents): | \setupinteraction [state=start] | \setuplistalternative [a] [command=\hskip.8em] | \setupcombinedlist [content] [alternative=a, interaction=all, | level=section, partnumber=no] | \setuplist [chapter] [after=\blank, before=\blank, | numberstyle=\tfd, pagestyle=italic, style=\tfa, | width=1.75em] | \setuplist [section] [alternative=d, headnumber=no, | interaction=pagenumber, margin=1.75em, | pagestyle=italic] This produces a table of contents like that: | 1 Chapter One 1 | Section A 1 Section B 2 Section C 3 Sec- | tion D 5 Section E 12 Here are my questions: (2 to 4 are of lower priority for me) 1. How can I setup the toc to get the sections (or listalternative d) to be set ragged right? 2. Is it possible to insert text between the section-pagenumber and the following section-text? (Section A 1 -- Section B 2 -- Section C 3) ^^ ^^ 3. I can't alter the distance between section-text and pagenumber. Changing the command option for listalternative a does it for chapters. But this doesn't work for listalternative d. 4. Can I get interaction=all for listalternative d?. Only interaction=pagenumber produces interaction. If I set interaction to all or text, I don't get interaction for the sections. I'm using ConTeXt 2007.04.17 with pdfTeXk 3.141592-1.40.3 from TeXlive 2007 on Gentoo/Linux. Wrong SRA3 papersize ?

In page-lay.tex \definepapersize [SRA3] [\c!width=320mm,\c!height=450mm] maybe is wrong. split rotated TABLE

This was asked, but not answered before... I've a big TABLE that needs to be rotated to fit width, but must break over two or three pages. Caption should stay horizontally (but that's not important). I tried several attempts, some didn't display anything, none breaks the table, e.g.: \placetable[here,90][tab:religionen]{Götter}% {\framed[width=\textheight, height=\textwidth]{\getbuffer[tab- religionen]}} % rotation included in the placetable parameters; with "page" instead of "here" it didn't display anything. % another failed attempt: \rotate[width=\textheight, height=\textwidth, rotation=90]{% \placetable[here][tab:religionen]{Götter}{\getbuffer[tab-religionen]}% } As you can guess, the whole table is in a buffer: \startbuffer[tab-religionen] \bTABLE[split=repeat] \bTABLEhead \bTR[bottomframe=on]\bTH Land \eTH\bTH Aspekt \eTH\bTH Aspekt \eTH \bTH Aspekt \eTH\bTH Aspekt \eTH\bTH Aspekt \eTH\bTH Aspekt \eTH\bTH Aspekt \eTH\bTH Aspekt \eTH\eTR \eTABLEhead \bTABLEbody ... \bTABLE[width=\textheight] sets the width of the first column to \textheight - WHY? footnotes not fit in page

Hello I have the following problem with footnotes. I want the footnotes at the end of the document, and i have footnotes very long. But the footnotes placed with \placefootnotes not fit it in the page. updated Ubuntu edgy texlive+context backports

I just updated the Ubuntu edgy backports of the texlive packages (for i386) and have been running them on my feisty laptop for half a day. The 'context' package provides version 2007.04.17 12:51. They are recompilations of the latest Ubuntu gutsy (7.10) packages, which are Norbert's latest Debian packages with a couple additions. Let me know if you have problems. To use the packages, add these lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list : deb http://web.mit.edu/download/sanjoy/texlive-backports/ edgy/ deb-src http://web.mit.edu/download/sanjoy/texlive-backports/ edgy/ Then apt-get update apt-get install cm-super texlive-fonts-recommended \ context context-nonfree context-doc-nonfree ('cm-super comes from the universe repositories) Sorry, no dapper (6.06) backports yet! A few tricky package-version obstacles remain. -Sanjoy
