Overfull boxes using m-cweb

Hello, I am running into overfull boxes when including a weaved cweb file into a context document. The original reference to the cwebmac.tex file (the plain TeX macro) is commented out and replaced by \usemodule[cweb]. The cweb macros appear to expand something into \*11ptmmmt* which seems to have something to do with it. Is there anyone here with experience and deep (Con)TeX(t) knowledge who understands what is happening? compound titles, lists and headers

Dear list, my publisher forces me to set different things as titles, in headers and table of contents. In some cases \nolist and \nomarking aren't enough. here are my actual definitions: ---- \def\Untertitel#1{\blank[3pt]{\ss\bf #1}\blank} % ok \def\Titel#1#2{{\nohyphens\chapter{#1}\Untertitel{#2}}} % ok \def\KomplexTitel#1#2#3{{\writetolist[chapter]{#3}\nohyphens\title{#1}\U ntertitel{#2}}} ---- with ---- \start \setupheadertexts[][manual entry][part][] % normally defined as [][chapter][part][] \KomplexTitel{Main chapter title}{chapter subtitle}{toc entry} Much text \stop % of other headertext ---- Real life example: \start \setupheadertexts [][Vorwort][][] \KomplexTitel{Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf}% {Vorwort von Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott}% {Vorwort Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott:\\Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf} ... Now there stay two issues: 1. I'd like to get a four-parameter command that can set the header text also. 2. I must get a line feed into the toc, but neither \\ nor \crlf works. Please help! Thanks. xetex and attachment: troubles

Dear all, I'm using xetex with fun (as suggested and discussed on the mailing list). I'm revising a previously created document which used attachment command. (the one documented here: http://wiki.contextgarden.net/ Verbatim_text#A_different_approach_to_formatting_and_code_colorization ) The actual version is here: http://www.cirma.unito.it/andrea/sw/sc/prd_tSCIRMA_scr.pdf Now, with ConTeXt no problem. If I use XeConTeXt (--> texexec --xtx) the file is not attached (there's the marker, a link is diplayed, but Acrobat says that there's no attachment). As far as I can say, the problem seems to depend on --xtx switch, Any hints? A few questions about aligned maths

Hi everyone, I read carefully the two 'My Way' from Aditya regarding math alignment (thank you for those, they were extremely useful to me, and should maybe get even more visibility on the wiki), and I have some questions about it: 1) Is there a way to modify interline spacing in 'cases' environment? I find it a bit short when using the displaystyle option. 2) I noticed that the interline spacing is not the same in the 'align' and 'aligned' environment (it's larger in 'align'). Is there a way to make 'aligned' use the spacing of align? It looks better with displaystyle maths. 3) Aditya, I saw your remark in your 'My Way' concerning the 'multline' environment. I must admit I would really be glad to see it appear in ConTeXt! I'm afraid I'm not able to implement it myself... I use it a lot with amsmath: when a formula is just too long for one line, I put it on two with multline. The first part of the formula is left aligned on the first line, and the second part is right aligned on the second line. It seems impossible to get the same result with only 'align'. Would it be difficult to make it available in ConTeXt? Best regards, Morgan

Bib module and prefix=+

Hi, How can the bib module and \setuphead[chapter][prefix=+] be made to coexist? The following example works, but if you uncomment the \setuphead, the citations are broken and the reference list vanishes: \setupoutput[pdftex] % uncomment this line and it breaks %\setuphead[chapter][prefix=+] \usemodule[bib] \usemodule[bibltx] \setupbibtex[database={xampl.bib}] \setuppublications[refcommand=num] % makes no real difference %\setuppublicationlist[title=\chapter] \version[temporary] \starttext \chapter[chapt]{A Chapter} Some citations: \cite[article-full] \cite[inbook-full] \cite[manual- full]. Change line spacing of the publication list

Hi, I find that when the lines pacing of the text is set by \setupinterlinespace, the line spacing of publication list is not affected at all. I am just wondering if it is possible to change the line spacing of the publication list produced by bibtex to make the article have a uniform look. Thanks in advance. Roy

Feature Request: \startitemize[text]

Hi Hans, I have always found the space at the beginning of each item in \startitemize[text] to be too large. Currently, this is hard coded to be \emwidth plus \intertwordstretch minus \interwordshrink (line 1132 of core-itm.tex with the comment "new per 2006/10/20"). I always end of copying the definition of complexdoitemgroupitem to my private modules and changing the emwidth in the definition to 0.5\emwidth. Can you please keep this key to be configurable with a key (textinbetween)? BTW, any particular reason not to simply say \removeunwantedspaces\space\ignorespaces instead of \removeunwantedspaces\hskip\emwidth\!!plus\interwordstretch\!!minus\interwordshrink\relax \stopitemgroup uses just the first variant. more xml in mkiv

Hi all, I played some more with the new mkiv xml mechanism and am beginning to see the light: some things that turned out to be very difficult (at least for me) with the "old" mechanism are easy now. However, I still have a couple of questions: 1. I have this minimal file test.xml: <document> <itemize> <item> one </item> <item> two </item> <item> three </item> </itemize> </document> and this minimal environment test-style.tex: \startxmlsetups xml:mysetups \xmlsetsetup{\xmldocument}{document|itemize|item}{xml:*} \stopxmlsetups \xmlregistersetup{xml:mysetups} \startxmlsetups xml:document \xmlflush{#1} \stopxmlsetups \startxmlsetups xml:itemize \startitemize \xmlflush{#1} \stopitemize \stopxmlsetups \startxmlsetups xml:item \item \xmlflush{#1} \stopxmlsetups \starttext \xmlprocess{main}{\inputfilename}{} \stoptext When I run texexec --lua --env=test-style test.xml, I get output only for item "three," not for one and two. What am I doing wrong? 2. In every run, I get this warning: TeXUtil | check loading of file 'test-style', begin/end problem I don't see anything wrong with my files, though. Is this harmless? 3. I have a structure like this to get numbered labels: <lemmasection> <label>1234</label> <content> blahblah </content> </lemmasection> When I process this, I get unwanted spaces in my pdf; they disappear when I delete the newline and space between <content> and blahblah. listings.sty

Hello, I suggested to the author of the very feature rich LaTeX-Listings package, Carsten Heinz, to port this package to ConTeXt, and it seems, that he is interested. But before doing it, there are some questions: * What do Hans and other people thing about that? * listings.sty uses keyval.sty, how is the proper ConTeXt-way to do the same things as keyval, or should listings stay with keyval? Hello, I have a document consisting of title page, some introduction which should have pages numbered with roman numerals, and finally the real content \setuphead[subject][page=odd,style=\ss\bfb] \setuppagenumbering[location=] \starttext \startstandardmakeup title page \stopstandardmakeup \startfrontmatter \setuppagenumbering[conversion=romannumerals] \setupfootertexts[page \pagenumber{}] \subject{some intro pages} \input tufte \stopfrontmatter \startbodymatter \setupfootertexts[page \pagenumber{} of \totalnumberofpages] \dorecurse{10}{\subject{real content} \dorecurse{\recurselevel}{\input knuth} } \stopbodymatter \stoptext Now the problems: 1.) The second page starts counting at 1, while counting should start at page 3. This can be solved by using another \startstandardmakeup\strut\stopstandardmakeup. 2.) The last page says "page 26 of 27" - the total page number is indeed 27, but counting started on the second page, so it never reaches the last number. 3.) I would like the page number on the first page of bodymatter to be "page 1 of 23" instead of "page 4 of 27", and the last one to ge "page 23 of 23" instead of "page 26 of 27" There is some way=bychapter setting for page numering, but in that case there are no suitable chapters/sections available.
