Overfull boxes using m-cweb

Hello, I am running into overfull boxes when including a weaved cweb file into a context document. The original reference to the cwebmac.tex file (the plain TeX macro) is commented out and replaced by \usemodule[cweb]. The cweb macros appear to expand something into \*11ptmmmt* which seems to have something to do with it. Is there anyone here with experience and deep (Con)TeX(t) knowledge who understands what is happening? compound titles, lists and headers

Dear list, my publisher forces me to set different things as titles, in headers and table of contents. In some cases \nolist and \nomarking aren't enough. here are my actual definitions: ---- \def\Untertitel#1{\blank[3pt]{\ss\bf #1}\blank} % ok \def\Titel#1#2{{\nohyphens\chapter{#1}\Untertitel{#2}}} % ok \def\KomplexTitel#1#2#3{{\writetolist[chapter]{#3}\nohyphens\title{#1}\U ntertitel{#2}}} ---- with ---- \start \setupheadertexts[][manual entry][part][] % normally defined as [][chapter][part][] \KomplexTitel{Main chapter title}{chapter subtitle}{toc entry} Much text \stop % of other headertext ---- Real life example: \start \setupheadertexts [][Vorwort][][] \KomplexTitel{Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf}% {Vorwort von Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott}% {Vorwort Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott:\\Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf} ... listings.sty

Hello, I suggested to the author of the very feature rich LaTeX-Listings package, Carsten Heinz, to port this package to ConTeXt, and it seems, that he is interested. But before doing it, there are some questions: * What do Hans and other people thing about that? * listings.sty uses keyval.sty, how is the proper ConTeXt-way to do the same things as keyval, or should listings stay with keyval? U3D (embedded 3D objects)

Hello, is there support for .u3d files in ConTeXt available or planned? This would take advantage of Acrobat 7 support for these 3D data files. There is a LaTeX package (http:// www.tug.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/movie15/) that does that, and it even works on my Mac. Thanks, Matthias

Fleurons

Dear All I am in the process of learning the wonders of Context and enjoying the challenge. My Context is the stand alone version for Windows which I downloaded from the Pragma site. I'm getting used to using the Scite editor although it was a little difficult in the beginning. Just now I'm putting together some short stories and am having fun playing about with layout and using different kinds of fonts. Also I'm reading 'The Elements of Typographic Style' by Robert Bringhurst which is absolutely superb! I would never have thought that a book on typography would be so easy to read. In Bringhurst's book he mentions fleurons - "A horticultural dingbat" which I would like to access. I have looked through the Context manuals but with no success. Could someone give me some hints? Font size in FLOWchart module.

I am using the flowchart module to create various goodies. What I don't know how to do is regulate the size of the font for the text that goes inside the little boxes. Substack in Context

Hi, What is the context equivalent of latex's substack? How do I type the following $$ \sum_{\substack i \in P \\ j \in Q} a_{ij} $$ I search on source browser shows that this command was defined in newmat but pruned out. Is there a replacement for it? Is it safe to simply copy the definitions from m-newmat.tex and use them in my project? How to \bf for math?

Hello, What exactly is the ConTeXt alternative to LaTeX's \mathbf (switch to bold or bold italic math fonts)? (Btw: is it better to use bold or bold italic for typesetting vectors? We use "overrightharpoonup", so I don't know what an international standard says.) I understand the main commands for switching the font in text (rm, tt, ss for family and tf, sl, it, bf, bs, bi, sc + an optional x/xx/a/b/c/d), but I didn't understand yet what to use for math. ~~~ As an intermezzo: is there any way to ger small caps slanted? \sc will do the small caps, but \sl switches to normal slanted font (no small caps) again. I suppose that the current model (set of current font definitions) doesn't account for the possibility of using small caps slanted or small caps bold (slanted). Is there any elegant way to do that, for example by defining new commands such as \scbf, \scit, \scbi [+ xx/x/a/b/c/d]? (I can still use other tricks to get those fonts, but some general scheme for using them could be useful for others as well.) ~~~ I tried to use the examples described in mfonts.pdf, but I can't get those examples working. (I probably used too few definitions when more definitions are required at once to make the examples work.) I also tried the command from one of Adam's articles, \def\mfunction#1{{\em#1}}, to get italic euler math font, but without success. I tried \starttypescript [boldmath] [iwona-heavy] [name] \definefontsynonym [MathRomanBold] [Iwona-Math-Letters-Heavy] ... \starttypescript %[boldmath] [iwona-heavy] [default] \definebodyfont [boldmath] [mm] [(bf)mr=MathRomanBold mo 1, ...] ... and different settings in starttypescript/definebody font ... but no success at all. I would like to create some definitions, so that I could easily say (write a command) "I want the light version for regular math and the regular font for bold math" or "I want the regular version for regular and the heavy version for bold math". Hello, The fact that all Polish fonts (lm, iwona, kurier, antt) now ship with el-* files makes me wonder: is there time to do the next step and finish the second encoding with symbols? Mojca
