Overfull boxes using m-cweb

Hello, I am running into overfull boxes when including a weaved cweb file into a context document. The original reference to the cwebmac.tex file (the plain TeX macro) is commented out and replaced by \usemodule[cweb]. The cweb macros appear to expand something into \*11ptmmmt* which seems to have something to do with it. Is there anyone here with experience and deep (Con)TeX(t) knowledge who understands what is happening? compound titles, lists and headers

Dear list, my publisher forces me to set different things as titles, in headers and table of contents. In some cases \nolist and \nomarking aren't enough. here are my actual definitions: ---- \def\Untertitel#1{\blank[3pt]{\ss\bf #1}\blank} % ok \def\Titel#1#2{{\nohyphens\chapter{#1}\Untertitel{#2}}} % ok \def\KomplexTitel#1#2#3{{\writetolist[chapter]{#3}\nohyphens\title{#1}\U ntertitel{#2}}} ---- with ---- \start \setupheadertexts[][manual entry][part][] % normally defined as [][chapter][part][] \KomplexTitel{Main chapter title}{chapter subtitle}{toc entry} Much text \stop % of other headertext ---- Real life example: \start \setupheadertexts [][Vorwort][][] \KomplexTitel{Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf}% {Vorwort von Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott}% {Vorwort Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott:\\Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf} ... Now there stay two issues: 1. I'd like to get a four-parameter command that can set the header text also. 2. I must get a line feed into the toc, but neither \\ nor \crlf works. Please help! Thanks. Bib module and prefix=+

Hi, How can the bib module and \setuphead[chapter][prefix=+] be made to coexist? The following example works, but if you uncomment the \setuphead, the citations are broken and the reference list vanishes: \setupoutput[pdftex] % uncomment this line and it breaks %\setuphead[chapter][prefix=+] \usemodule[bib] \usemodule[bibltx] \setupbibtex[database={xampl.bib}] \setuppublications[refcommand=num] % makes no real difference %\setuppublicationlist[title=\chapter] \version[temporary] \starttext \chapter[chapt]{A Chapter} Some citations: \cite[article-full] \cite[inbook-full] \cite[manual- full]. listings.sty

Hello, I suggested to the author of the very feature rich LaTeX-Listings package, Carsten Heinz, to port this package to ConTeXt, and it seems, that he is interested. But before doing it, there are some questions: * What do Hans and other people thing about that? * listings.sty uses keyval.sty, how is the proper ConTeXt-way to do the same things as keyval, or should listings stay with keyval? Repeat (*) key in TaBlE

Several environments in a project?

Hi, I have a project with a few products sharing the same layout, which is specified in a global environment file. Each product is in a separate subdirectory together with its components. Then, I want to put some setups and figure definitions in product-specific environments and I do it like this: \startproduct OneProduct \project MyProject \environment OneProductDir/LocalEnvironment ... The problem is that the local environment is not read when I typeset a particular component, but only when I typeset the whole product. How can I fix that? Nicola

\overleftrightarrow

I'm preparing a geometry course using ConTeXt and am impressed with the system so far. One thing I need is to do is typeset various geometrical symbols. It looks like ConTeXt already has the \overleftarrow and \overrightarrow commands, but one thing I'd like to have is \overleftrightarrow, for typesetting the symbol customarily used to denote the line determined by two points. It seems, though, that this isn't available in ConTeXt, or, at least, it is not available by default. I tried looking on the contextgarden and google, but didn't come across anything. TOC, listalternative d, ragged right, interaction

Hi, I'm trying to alter the formatting of the table of contents for a document of chapters and sections. After searching the ConTeXt manuals, source and the list archive, I've only four more things I'd like to change. This is where I ask for your help. My current setup (for the table of contents): | \setupinteraction [state=start] | \setuplistalternative [a] [command=\hskip.8em] | \setupcombinedlist [content] [alternative=a, interaction=all, | level=section, partnumber=no] | \setuplist [chapter] [after=\blank, before=\blank, | numberstyle=\tfd, pagestyle=italic, style=\tfa, | width=1.75em] | \setuplist [section] [alternative=d, headnumber=no, | interaction=pagenumber, margin=1.75em, | pagestyle=italic] This produces a table of contents like that: | 1 Chapter One 1 | Section A 1 Section B 2 Section C 3 Sec- | tion D 5 Section E 12 Here are my questions: (2 to 4 are of lower priority for me) 1. How can I setup the toc to get the sections (or listalternative d) to be set ragged right? 2. Is it possible to insert text between the section-pagenumber and the following section-text? (Section A 1 -- Section B 2 -- Section C 3) ^^ ^^ 3. I can't alter the distance between section-text and pagenumber. Changing the command option for listalternative a does it for chapters. But this doesn't work for listalternative d. 4. Can I get interaction=all for listalternative d?. Only interaction=pagenumber produces interaction. If I set interaction to all or text, I don't get interaction for the sections. I'm using ConTeXt 2007.04.17 with pdfTeXk 3.141592-1.40.3 from TeXlive 2007 on Gentoo/Linux. automatic oldstyle numerals

I am using the Termes typeface in the TeXGyre distribution and should like to have all numerals print automatically as oldstyle numerals. Is there an explanation/demonstration anywhere of how to make this happen? I have searched the wiki and the archive, but have not yet been able to make anything work. Any tips or suggestions will be much appreciated. Alan

Hi, in \setupcolumns, what is ntop=<number> and height=<dimension>? I've played with these parameters but couldn't see any effect. Is it possible that align=yes/no is incorrect? See http://source.contextgarden.net/tex/context/base/page-mul.tex?search=%40%40… (search for @@klalign) Patrick
