Overfull boxes using m-cweb

Hello, I am running into overfull boxes when including a weaved cweb file into a context document. The original reference to the cwebmac.tex file (the plain TeX macro) is commented out and replaced by \usemodule[cweb]. The cweb macros appear to expand something into \*11ptmmmt* which seems to have something to do with it. Is there anyone here with experience and deep (Con)TeX(t) knowledge who understands what is happening? compound titles, lists and headers

Dear list, my publisher forces me to set different things as titles, in headers and table of contents. In some cases \nolist and \nomarking aren't enough. here are my actual definitions: ---- \def\Untertitel#1{\blank[3pt]{\ss\bf #1}\blank} % ok \def\Titel#1#2{{\nohyphens\chapter{#1}\Untertitel{#2}}} % ok \def\KomplexTitel#1#2#3{{\writetolist[chapter]{#3}\nohyphens\title{#1}\U ntertitel{#2}}} ---- with ---- \start \setupheadertexts[][manual entry][part][] % normally defined as [][chapter][part][] \KomplexTitel{Main chapter title}{chapter subtitle}{toc entry} Much text \stop % of other headertext ---- Real life example: \start \setupheadertexts [][Vorwort][][] \KomplexTitel{Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf}% {Vorwort von Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott}% {Vorwort Prof.|~|Dr.|~|Heinrich Ott:\\Die neutrale Schweiz und das globale Dorf} ... listings.sty

Hello, I suggested to the author of the very feature rich LaTeX-Listings package, Carsten Heinz, to port this package to ConTeXt, and it seems, that he is interested. But before doing it, there are some questions: * What do Hans and other people thing about that? * listings.sty uses keyval.sty, how is the proper ConTeXt-way to do the same things as keyval, or should listings stay with keyval? How to use the wiki?

Hello, Sorry for that stupid question, but what it the process to add something to the wiki? I can edit existing page, but in which topic or page one can add something? Is an account required? Is there a list of the pages added by the users? The wiki itself doesn't seem to have many information about this. Thanks, BG

texmfstart newbie

OK, I've updated to the latest context via Gerben's i-installer on my mac osx 10.4.6. I have no idea what texmfstart is nor do I understand its purpose. Support for FormCalc ?

U3D (embedded 3D objects)

Hello, is there support for .u3d files in ConTeXt available or planned? This would take advantage of Acrobat 7 support for these 3D data files. There is a LaTeX package (http:// www.tug.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/movie15/) that does that, and it even works on my Mac. Thanks, Matthias

Fleurons

Dear All I am in the process of learning the wonders of Context and enjoying the challenge. My Context is the stand alone version for Windows which I downloaded from the Pragma site. I'm getting used to using the Scite editor although it was a little difficult in the beginning. Just now I'm putting together some short stories and am having fun playing about with layout and using different kinds of fonts. Also I'm reading 'The Elements of Typographic Style' by Robert Bringhurst which is absolutely superb! I would never have thought that a book on typography would be so easy to read. In Bringhurst's book he mentions fleurons - "A horticultural dingbat" which I would like to access. I have looked through the Context manuals but with no success. Could someone give me some hints? Linux upgrade

I have been working with two versions of TeX, neither one of which is new enough to accomodate all the latest Context bells and whistles. I tried downloading context.zip and installing it on my standard /usr/share/texmf tree. No joy. I get messages telling me to use the texmfstart command instead. This is as I recall a Windows thingie. So next I tried linux binaries only. Still no joy. Let me start all over. Assuming a working TeX installation (either tetex or texlive 2005) what incantation must I perform to upgrade to the latest stable Context and what specific zip file should I use?
