Overfull boxes using m-cweb

Hello, I am running into overfull boxes when including a weaved cweb file into a context document. The original reference to the cwebmac.tex file (the plain TeX macro) is commented out and replaced by \usemodule[cweb]. The cweb macros appear to expand something into \*11ptmmmt* which seems to have something to do with it. Is there anyone here with experience and deep (Con)TeX(t) knowledge who understands what is happening? compound titles, lists and headers

Dear list, my publisher forces me to set different things as titles, in headers and table of contents. listings.sty

Hello, I suggested to the author of the very feature rich LaTeX-Listings package, Carsten Heinz, to port this package to ConTeXt, and it seems, that he is interested. But before doing it, there are some questions: * What do Hans and other people thing about that? * listings.sty uses keyval.sty, how is the proper ConTeXt-way to do the same things as keyval, or should listings stay with keyval? How to use the wiki?

Hello, Sorry for that stupid question, but what it the process to add something to the wiki? I can edit existing page, but in which topic or page one can add something? Is an account required? Is there a list of the pages added by the users? The wiki itself doesn't seem to have many information about this. Thanks, BG

\bar missing in euler

I do not get any bar over "a". math-eul.tex says %D This used to be very hackish; it brought in text %D accents from the well-matched Bitstream Charter. %D But now, these characters don't exist. the closing bracket (structuring syntax)

Hi, in XML and alike there is a concept of dedicated start/stop in formatting: <begin heading> ... <end heading > <begin footnote> ... <end footnote > <begin italic> ... <end italic> But in ConTeXt/TeX we have always the same closing syntax "}". That makes reading the code not easier. Is there a workaround to define the closing more precisely (like the examples above), so that finding a "}" in a ConTeXt source lets me distinguish what it's about? But in such a way that the file still can be processed as a regular ConTeXt file? Steffen

2DOWN imposition gives blank pages

I'm learning page rearrangements and cannot figure out why the following small example doesn't work (it's similar to those in the cont-eni.pdf manual, fig 3.22). TeX trigger in MP macro

Hi all, Currently I am using \startuniqueMPgraphic{foo} ... if (\DbgFill=0) : fill whatever fi ... \stopuniqueMPgraphic in my MP graphics. \DbgFill (0|1) is just a trigger, which prevents filling in case of visual debugging. Instead of always writing this 'long' form, it should be possible to use a self written mp-macro instead. But my naive approach def dbg_fill (expr p) = if (\DbgFill=0) : fill p ; fi enddef ; doesn't work. I get >> DbgFill ! Unknown relation will be considered false. How do I realize this trigger inside pure MP code and set it outside in TeX? The trigger should be global and can change during runtime. Any help is welcome. Greetings, Peter

Hello, Thank you again for very timely and great answers to my question yesterday. I am finding that implementing things in Context is usually easier than I expect. This is very nice. Our company decided to switch to context from latex recently. It seems to have been a very good decision. Thanks for all the work you do to make context so fun to use. We have one last thing to get translated from latex to context. David Kastrup wrote a bit of latex for us (included below) that magically writes out the absolute xy position of each paragraph and image to a log file for us. We pass some extra information to the commands that get put in the log file for us, but in the end we mainly need a way to get the absolute xy coordinates of the bounding boxes for each paragraph, each section title, each image and each image caption. Is there a way to get this information with context already? Or do I need to get a new module written?
