Following example (taken from the wiki) produces an error with lmtx: \definetabletemplate[booktabs][o0|l|l|ro0|] \starttable[booktabs] \NC first column \NC second column \NC third column \NC \AR \stoptable Following example works: \starttable[o0|l|l|ro0|] %same as above, but without the use of the defined template \NC first column \NC second column \NC third column \NC \AR \stoptable I know that this table-environment is deprecated. But it is best suited for my project. I love the use of the template with this environment. Thanks for looking into it. Christian

Trouble with this formula

Dear List, I have a trouble with this formula, because, I would like to have c + d also in the matrix, but it is not working. \starttext \startformula \startmathmatrix[fences=doublebar] \pmatrix { a + b\NR} { c + d \NR} \stopmathmatrix \stopformula \stoptext And another question too: I would like to need the command \parallel, instead of the fences, how can I make them big? \pi not defined in latest MkIV

Hi Hans, \pi doesn't seem to be defined in MkIV anymore. I'm using the latest from the standalone distribution, although the issue is also present in the TL25 pretest. outlinetext, fractions, and square roots

Hi, When experimenting with outlinetext, I found it generally works well for both text and equations but seems to fail for fractions or square roots. The code below demonstrates the issue: ____________________________ \startMPpage draw outlinetext("$\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}$"); \stopMPpage ____________________________ The ‘1’ and ‘2’ seem to be at the right positions, but the fraction bar and horizontal part of the radical are missing. Is there a different fonction I should use for getting the outlines of equations? Best regards, Florent

MetaPost behaviour differs between standalone and \startreusableMPgraphic

I am in the process of converting a bunch of old TikZ notepaper templates to native ConTeXt and MetaPost. This is a part of a project to generate notebooks with documentation data and then blank pages appended to fill out full sheets, and then collated in a particular order for trimming and binding. As such I rely on Imposition. I am having issues with the various techniques of trying to duplicate a MP graphic across the pages using \[start|stop]MPcode \[start|stop]useMPgraphic, etc. But that is a discussion for another time. The method that I found to work was to use \[start|stop]reusableMPgraphic along with overlays I am still struggling with some MetaPost code that works fine in standalone but not when included in a ConTeXt document. With standalone MP, we get thicker lines on major increments as expected. When the same code is included in a ConTeXt document the thicker lines are only drawn up a certain number and then stop --- presumably the mod function returning a non-zero result when it really shouldn't? Are paths resolved relative to file location or calling location?

Hi, I have a (simplified) project structure like this: root-folder /asset /tex /results /source My tex file is stored under assets, the source is an xml file under source, the pdf should be saved under results. If I call context from within the assets folder, the pdf is created as expected, but if I call context from the results folder, I get an error message saying that the xml file is not found. As the file is created properly when I call context from the assets folder, I assume context performs lookups based on the calling location (not the file location). Is that correct? Is there a simple way to call context from the results folder and still have the sources found, or do I have to call context from the assets folder and copy/move the result afterwards? Best, Denis

Math hat misplaced in Libertinus

The hat accent is misplaced in Libertinus. I just noticed this in the LMTX from January.
