Questions on Table of Contents

Hey folks, I am familiar with the \completecontent command, but was wondering if there is a way to also typeset just a summary of the table of contents (e.g. just chapters and no sections, sub sections, etc.)? I've also noticed that all of the colours in my table of contents appear to be the same. I don't know if it has always been this way or if it is a recent bug or something has changed in ConTeXt. Regardless, I wonder if someone could tell me how to customize the colours of the various parts of the table of contents, such as the chapter/section number, the name, and the page number it starts on. \footnote and \chapter

Hi Hans, For your information, I just tested the latest beta (ConTeXt ver: 2012.02.08 21:58 MKIV fmt: 2012.2.8) with my usual test suite and found that the following gives an error message: %%%%% begin \starttext \chapter{Testing a chapter\footnote{Actually for testing footnotes in a chapter header\dots}} \stoptext %%%%%% end Hitting « r » the file typesets, but there is no number in the footnote, and the footnote number in the text is strangely very small. no liga with Brill font

Hi there, there is a zero-cost font (not available for commercial works without previous permission) from Brill (http://www.brill.nl/news/brill-typeface) Standard ligatures such as fi and fl don't work: \usemodule[simplefonts] \definefontfeature[default][default][script=latn] \setmainfont[Brill] \starttext fi fl ff ffi ffl \stoptext The glyphs are defined (ﬀ, ﬁ, ﬂ, ﬃ, ﬄ), but when I test ligatures with FontForge (Ctrl+K) these glyphs aren't used and single substitution lookups in different subtables are performed for the different ligatures (actually no ligatures are used). Sorry, my explanation isn't as accurate as it should. I'm not a font expert, but Substitutions can be browsed in FontForge selecting the glyph info (Ctrl+I). Is there something to report to the font designer or is there something not yet implemented in ConTeXt? Thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.oudeis.tk

Manuals in ePub?

Titles break TikZ

with some recent beta (sorry for vagueness), tikz stopped working after titles. (i use first-setup.sh to install: these are the betas, not something different, right?) xtables: vertical stretch

Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to have some vertical stretch in xtables so they fill the entire page area. I know this sounds a bit bizarre, but it would look good on slides: have an option that will automatically calculate the height of every row as \textheight/x for any x. All best Thomas

problem with externalfigure

Hello, I installed context according to this page on my Fedora 15 system. Installation seems to went well. interlinear space and Crimson font

Hi there, I have the following code (font available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/crimsontext/files/) \usemodule[simplefonts] \setmainfont[Crimson] \setupinterlinespace[line=10ex] \starttext \dorecurse{5}{\input knuth\par} \stoptext And no matter whether I comment the third line or not, I get the same interlinear space. setupfloat[Myfloat] does not work

Hi, I want to set up individual floats with different spaces before/after. Cross-document referencing; How to?!

Hi, After going through the suggested reading "This Way", sep 2011 (http://pragma-ade.com/show-mag-15.htm) in relation to this topic it was time to do some tests! Well, I stumbled on the very first basic problem! Using the \useexternalfile[logical_name][filename] resulted in an Undefined control sequence ... error message!? Anybody any suggestions about the syntax of this command?! The description in the reference part of the ConTeXt Garden wiki site is not of much help to me either, sorry! Regards, Gerard Verhaag P.S.
