Two columns type problem

Hello, I'm using: current version: 2012.02.08 21:58 but this problem happens in more versions. The blank page appears every time, when the chapter is on the top of page. I want to prepare two columns layout, but chapters should be overlaid over two cols. I played also with \definecolumns and columnset environment, but columns were not balanced and doesn't work as I expected. Hi all, the command \setupnotedefinition is no longer defined in the latest beta (strc-not.mkvi). Is this an oversight, or has it been replaced by something else? All best Thomas

Simpleslides crash

mixing Greek and English texts

Hi there, I would like to typeset a classical Greek text that contains a Greek-English dictionary and other explanations in English with Greek passages. In order to get proper hyphenation, I should define English as main language and tag all Greek in the text. This is a lot of work. questions on linenotes/notes

I need them to have line numbers in the notes, but this doesn't work with latest beta (adding \setupnotation[significa][number=yes] doesn't work either). How can I have line numbers in the line notes? In both line notes groups, there can be many notes that come from the same line. Would it be possible that the number is only printed on the first note from each line? I mean, instead of having: 1 lugar: place 1 nombre: name 2 querer:want 2 acordarse: remember it would be extremely helpful to have the following option: 1 lugar: place nombre: name 2 querer:want acordarse: remember How could this be achieved? In the sample above, \significa is a kind of dictionary in each page. I wonder whether it would be possible for these notes to be displayed in two columns and alphabetically ordered. According to the ConTeXt Reference Manual, items can be displayed in columns and there is a sorting mechanism for lists, but I don't know how this could be applied to notes. Is this possible? TOC with wrong lines in latest beta

Hi there, in the following sample, the TOC has chapter 2 on the same line as section 1. \setuplist[chapter][alternative=g,align=middle,aligntitle=yes] \setuplist[section][alternative=d] \starttext \completecontent \chapter{chapter 1} \section{section 1} \chapter{chapter 2} \section{section 2} \stoptext I'm afraid that this i a bug, since chapter 2 should be on a new line. wrong footnote number with latest beta

Hi there, I like to have footnote numbers with normal text (no superscript) in the footnote itself. \setupnote[footnote][rule=off,numberstyle=\tf,numbercommand=] \starttext a\footnote{b} \stoptext The sample above works right with ConTeXt stable, but not with latest beta.
