Problem with \vec in zfaqcmrm font

Hello! Sorry for being so active lately but I've run into problem after problem... This formula $\vec{}\vec a\vec A$ fives first vector at baseline, second a little higher and third somewhere at the middle of letter A. \showfont shows nice vector at 7e in right position but \showmathcharacters shows vec at baseline. I'm using zfaqcmrm from pscyr package. I don't know where to start looking for source of problem. Is there a way to manualy adjust vector position? Other symbols seem to work well -- problem just with \vec. In LaTeX all works well too. Thanks for your patience. -- Radhelorn <radhelorn(a)mail.ru>

Bold Greek Math with Fourier Font

Hi all, Does anyone know how to setup fourier to have boldfaced symbols (both greek and roman) using the Fourier font? I've read through the "Mixed Normal and Bold Math" doc, but I cannot seem to get bold to work at all with the Fourier font. Heck, I cannot even get the boldmath definition to stop substituting with cm! I've changed 'tex/context/base/type-syn.tex' and 'tex/context/base/type-enc.tex' to provide boldmath/bfmath definitions as below. Despite 3 hours of fiddling, I'm getting substitution with computer modern when I try and the boldmath definition in test.tex (below). I hope this isn't a case of me not reading the docs carefully enough... Any and all help greatly appreciated. Thanks to Hans and Adam for the helpful advice. The code from Adam looked a bit daunting to me as a learner at first but when I changed [pzdr] to [uzdr] it worked fine. I attach the output from Adam's code which also includes his query about symb-run in a previous message. Hope this is of use. From the further discussion between them I hope I didn't open a can of worms. One last question. I did a search on the web for fleuron fonts and came up with a few interesting hits. To use these in Context is it a case of following the 'Texfont explained' and 'Fonts in Context' manuals? I think I have seen some 'My Way' (or is it 'This way'... well, 'Whatever way' ;>) ) on the Wiki about this as well. I realize this is not a trivial pursuit for a beginner but I would like to give it a try. Are there any pitfalls to look out for or should I just dive in? Setting up chapter.

I am trying to set up chapter heads a certain way and my code keeps getting uglier. Here are the specs: 1. Chapter number centered, with decorations on either side. 2. Chapter title centered below chapter number. 3. Additional decoration centered below chapter title. 4. Both number and text show up in TOC in normal Context manner. Can this be done easily using the normal chapter macro or should I do it all from scratch? (If I roll my own I worry about getting info to the TOC.) -- John Culleton

Maybe this is a stupid question, but according to manual this should align tables right: \starttext \setuptabulate[align=right] some text before \starttabulate[|l|l|] \HL \NC test \NC test \NR \NC test \NC test \NR \HL \stoptabulate in the middle \setuptables[align=right] \starttable[|l|l|] \HL \NC test \NC test \NC\AR \NC test \NC test \NC\AR \HL \stoptable after after \stoptext I've tried left, right, middle, center... to no effect. Hi, I have some problems when i _try_ to install new fonts. I use the TeXLive 2003 inst on Windows XP I referred to 2 documents viz. Hi Adam, sure, you've mentioned AGaramondPro. But I have the AGaramond+Expert fonts (Type1) installed in my texmf tree with Walther Schmidts TFM and VF files (see the padxxxx-files in the typescript I've sent). http://www.dante.de/CTAN/fonts/metrics/w-a-schmidt/pad.zip (or in general but German http://home.vr-web.de/was/fonts.html) And this is the crucial point: for theses files provide e.g. optimized (German) kerning information (and more) I really don't want to miss them! And I have absolutely no idea how to access theses files. Isn't is possible when processing with XeTeX to continue using those precious hand-made virtual fonts?
