Hi Wolfgang, I have the following code: \definefontfeature[fakeslanted][slant=.25] \definefontfamily[mainface][serif][TeX Gyre Pagella][slantedfont={* Regular},sl=features:fakeslanted] \setupbodyfont[mainface] \starttext This is {\em slanted}. \stoptext But I don’t know how to define "slantedfont={* Regular}" with the new syntax. "sl=style:tf" or "sl=style:regular" don’t work (the italic font is the slanted one). Which is the right way to do it in the new version of simplefonts? BTW, I think I should update the simplefonts article in the wiki to add the new syntax. After reading the font-sel.mkvi file, I have two questions: Which are the option keys that come before a colon? I mean, taking tf=style:bf as a sample, they would be style, file, features? Which ones am I missing? How about a new range preset for Hebrew? Many thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk

Hat with \widehat is not satisfactory

Dear list, I think the symbol of the angles is too close to the letters. Problem with matematics (derivative and brackets combinations) + wrong pagenumbering

Hello ConTeXist. I type some math now. When I use the symbol derivative in combination with symbols brackets, so the result does not look too good. Compared to the result in LaTeX output is almost unusable. It is possible to achieve a better result? In addition, I noticed that the page numbering starts from number 2. Is it a bug or I wrong? Bookmarks with the specified label on

I have specified the headnumber of chapter to be "the Number chpt". By using \setuplist and \placelist with the attributes "label=yes", I could get a content with the label as what I want. But the headnumber of chapter label on bookmarks is still using "Number" intead of "the Number chpt". What should I do to enable this feature? draw random branched hydrocarbons

I wrote this code to randomly draw organic branched structures. Since the organic structures have different dimensions I'm using the scale function to normalize the width. The result is a rather ugly because the structures are displayed with fonts with different sizes. Is there a way to normalize the structures width only when it exceeds a certain size? two question on ConTeXt terminology

Dear list, I’m writing a document on ConTeXt and I have two questions on terminology. As I have been using LaTeX over a decade, I don’t know whether my descriptions are accurate in ConTeXt. Don’t worry, My questions are extremely basic ;-). What is the name for the part of the document that comes before \starttext? The ConTeXt manual seems to use preamble, but I would like to confirm this use. The other question is more tricky. Or at least I don’t find an obvious answer. Which is the correct expression to name any \start...-\stop....structure? Environment would be the LaTeX term, but this is reserved in ConTeXt. printing visible space in \tex

issue with font in typing environment

Dear list, I converted the monospace fonts of txfonts (http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts/txfonts/pfb) from pbf to otf using FontForge. They work fine (http://www.ousia.tk/ryfonts.zip) But the issue is shown in the following sample (beta from 2014.02.01 14:22): \definefontfamily[mainface][mono][ryt1xtt][bf=ryt1xbtt] \setupbodyfont[mainface] \definetyping[TeXcode][option=TEX] \starttext \starttyping \ConTeXt\ is \stoptyping \startTeXcode \ConTeXt\ is \stopTeXcode \stoptext If option=TEX is enabled, there is no space after the backslash. But I want to link this "testpage" and this "noindentation" with each other, s.t. both are active, if the line-criterion is true, and both are not acting, if not. That is, what I meant with "\testpage[n,noindentation]". Could I make it clear now? Huseyin

Rearrange Table of Contents section page numbers

Hi, I am trying to recreate the following ToC entries: http://i.stack.imgur.com/ig6LX.png The code on the wiki uses: \doifelse\currentlistentrylocation{\structureheadlocation{chapter}} {{\bfb\currentlistentrytitle}} { \currentlistentrytitle}\NC\NR However, there are syntax errors and the conditional expression assumes that the ToC is being placed on every page. This assumption allows it to resolve the namedstructureheadlocation value. For a ToC at the start of a document, there is no "current chapter" and so the head location for the chapter entry returns 0.
