Could somebody explain me why this (the part that is commented) doesn't work? I get the following error: tex error > tex error on line 0 in file : ! searching in subdirectories with project structure

Hi, (this is my first email to the list) I've created a project for my Thesis. The file tree is: /prod_thesis/ /prod_thesis.tex /envi_thesis.tex /comp_chap1/ /comp_chap1.tex /envi_chap1.tex /images/ /image1.jpg /image2.jpg (...) /tables/ /table1.tex /table2.tex (...) /comp_chap2/ /comp_chap2.tex /envi_chap2.tex /images/ /image1b.jpg /image2b.jpg (...) /tables/ /table1b.tex /table2b.tex (...) All images and tables are inserted ok. But if I cd into prod_thesis and exec: texexec -xtx prod_thesis.tex all images are replace by "dummy images", and tables are not found (raising an error in compilation of document). In prod_thesis compilation (is it correct to say "compilation of document"?), context is looking for file /prod_thesis/tables/table1.tex but isn't not looking in /prod_thesis/comp_chap1/tables/table1.tex. I've created a copy of tables in /prod_thesis/ and document compiled good. But i don't like to pollute prod_thesis directory. Questions: What is the canonical way to keep subdirectories of dependencies in a component? (to be reused later in product compilation) I thought \usepath was to indicate where look for input files. I have to use "\input tables/table1" to find table 1. \usepath didn't work in envi_chap1.tex. Cheers.

Duplex printing problem!

Hi, I try something like this: *\definepapersize[BOOK][width=270mm,height=195mm]** **\setuppapersize[BOOK][A4,landscape]* while my *\setuplayout* command contains: *location={doublesided,left}* among other settings. I would expect that the BOOK-page on the front and back side would move to the correct corner, but that doesn't seem to happen. Both on the front and back are shifted to the left!? I'would expect them to alter position between left and right! What am I doing wrong? listalternative and filler throws error

Hi, the following used to work with 2014.02.14 17:07 but a current 2016.05.01 09:52 throws the error: Use of \syst_helpers_set_local_hsize_yes doesn't match its definition \definefiller [myfiller] \setupcombinedlist [content] [alternative=c] \setuplistalternative [c] [filler={\filler[myfiller]}] \starttext \completecontent \chapter{Foo} \stoptext Has the interface changed in the mean time or is it a bug? Handling Semi-Bold for Minion Pro in Context (LuaTeX)

Hello, I'm trying to use the font Minion Pro for my document. I'm using the simplefont module but I cannot use the semibold font. I guess I'm missing some line in the configuration to bind sb to the semibold variant. font features in math

When I compile this in context all number are oldstyle numbers: \starttext \font\test= {name:TeX-Gyre-Termes:+onum} \test 0123456789 $\fam0 \textfont0=\test 0123456789$ \stoptext When I run a similar plaintex (or latex) example in texlive 2016 with a new luaotfload then the text numbers are (as wanted) old style, but the numbers in math mode are lining numbers (the font is correct): \input luaotfload.sty \font\test= {name:TeX-Gyre-Termes:+onum} \test 0123456789 $\fam0 \textfont0=\test 0123456789$ \bye So somehow in math the +onum is lost in plain and latex but not in context. Might be relevant to Context since the advertised functionality intersects with mtx-package / util-mrg.lua: Potential uses include: - Compressing Lua programs by removing comments and whitespace (strip.lua) - Removing assertions (assert.lua) - Adding new syntax sugar (self.lua) - Experimenting with new syntax without hacking the Lua source (reserved.lua) I especially like the idea of having some kind of a preprocessor. The scripts and files are executed and processed as seen. Each script appears as a separate argument after '-s', one '-s' per script. Scripts typically output the contents of the files with some modifications. Unfortunately, all comments and whitespace are eaten by the lexer and never reach the token stream. A typical usage is ltokenp -s script.lua [file.lua ...] but you can also do ltokenp -s s1.lua f1.lua -s s2.lua f2.lua A global function named FILTER will be called once for each token seen in the files. So, scripts typically define FILTER. If no scripts are given, ltokenp just dumps the token stream with this: function FILTER(line,token,text,value) print(line,token,text,value) end As can been above, the FILTER function receives 4 arguments from the lexer: - the line number where the token appears - the token as a number - the token as text - the value of names, numbers, and strings; for other tokens, the value is the same as the text. To try ltokenp, just edit Makefile to reflect your installation of Lua and then run make. This will build ltokenp and run a simple test. Note that ltokenp needs inside information from the Lua private headers and so it needs to be built using a Lua build directory, not just the usual installation directories. Garamond Premier Pro font goodies file

Hello list, I'm using the Adobe Garamond Premier Pro font. It has 4 optical sizes: Caption, Normal, Subhead, Display. I tried to modify ebgaramond.lfg to adapt it to Garamond Premier Pro. You find it as an attachment. I don't know how to use that goodies file to see the different optical sizes in a document. Autogenerating a module's documentation

Hello list, Has anyone managed to generate documentation for lua files recently? According to wiki/Module <http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Modules>, something like the following should work: context --ctx=x-ldx core-con.lua But it only produces core-con.lua.prep and not the PDF file. In fact, it seems to work on the prep file and compile a core-con.lua.prep.prep which escapes even the XML tags of the prep file. Probably some switch changed and the ctx file was not updated, so it just doesn't know how to deal with the prep file properly? On the other hand, the command to get PDF documentation out of TeX files does work and produces (albeit with some errors at times) the final documentation. context --ctx=s-mod core-con.mkiv Thanks! —MHB
