Long and slender floating tables

Hi, I have several long and slenders tables like this: -------8<------- \starttext Some Text at start. % Point bA \placetable[split]{My long table}{ % Point bB \bTABLE[split=repeat] \bTABLEhead \bTR\bTD one \eTD\bTD two \eTD\bTD three \eTD\eTR \eTABLEhead \bTABLEbody \dorecurse{100}{\bTR\bTD 1 \eTD\bTD 2 \eTD\bTD 3 \eTD\eTR} \eTABLEbody \eTABLE % Point eB } % Point eA Some Text at the end. \stoptext -------8<------- Typesetting this tables are quite ugly because the wide white space each side. I think the ideal solution is to place columns inside the floating but context garden wiki says float and columns doesn't work very well. I've tried put in Points "bA" and "eA" and in "bB" and "eB" the commands \startcolumn - \stopcolumn \startsinglecolumn - \stopsinglecolumn but unsuccesful. I am thinking to cut manually the table but there are enough amount of table to don't like the idea. In the worst case, I'll force tables to start a page and cut them manually. Questions: * Is there a easy automatically system to cut tables in columns? How? * Do you think/know a better way to show/expose data with this shape (long rows and few columns)? Thanks. Javier M. Teletype in tabulate

Hi all, I have the context version 2017.04.16 12:32. Now I detect that here the tabulate environment throws an error when using the T key for teletype in the preamble. Problem loading a DLL with the latest Ctx beta

Choosing STIX stylistic sets

\hyphenation command in TL 16

The \hyphenation{}-command is ignored in the texlive 2016 version (ver: 2016.05.17 19:20 MKIV). This has obviously been fixed since, as it works in the standalone. For other reasons I’d prefer to keep working with the TL16-version -- is it possible to patch the hyphenation easily in TL 16? Thanks in advance! Finding OSX fonts

I tried in vain to list the MacOSX fonts in mtxrun. In my .bashrc set: OSFONTDIR=$HOME/Library/Fonts:/Library/Fonts:/System/Library/Fonts export OSFONTDIR Then issuing the following commands: source ~/.bashrc echo $OSFONTDIR /Users/hansm/Library/Fonts:/Library/Fonts:/System/Library/Fonts mtxrun --script fonts --list pattern="Comic*" --all resolvers | trees | analyzing '/Users/hansm/Documents/TeX/texmf' identifier familyname fontname filename subfont instances Allthough there are definitely Comic fonts (such as Comic Sans MS.ttf) in directory /Library/Fonts these are not listed by mtxrun. What is happening, or better, not happening here? Hans van der Meer
