issue with \xmlattribute{#1}{.}{id}

Dear list, in an environment to parse an XML document, I use \reference[\xmlattribute{#1}{.}{id}]. Since it doesn’t do what I need, I checked the pure command "\xmlattribute{#1}{.}{id}". >From id="spieker-weiss" and id="computer-mind", I get "spieker-weissmain::4103" and "computers-mindmain::4384". What am I missing there or how could I get pure identifiers with no "main::9999" suffix? Many thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk

Title example from the Wiki is broken

Hello, I trying to use the "In ConTeXt: A more advanced solution" example from the wiki [http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Document_Titles] to learn how modules and the like work in ConTeXt. I saved the module as p-titlepage.mkvi, because I could not get my module to load instead of the included third party one. So my questions are: 1. Is there a way to load my module with the name title ahead of the supplied one? I saved it to <texroot>/texmf-project/tex/context/shared and <texroot>/texmf-local 2. Hi, As the tex live code freezing is near we made a "current" (luigi does the checking in tex live). As far as we can see it works ok with luatex 1.07 (the context garden will have 1.08 in a while but that will influence only some low level context, more convenenience stuff). Space between lines with mathematical writings

Hello, When I write text with mathematics, I find that the space between two lines is not enough because the formulas overflow one over the other. How to correct this ? Custom sorting of "pseudo-language" in a register

Hello all, I’m just getting acquainted with ConTeXt, and I am finding it so much more suitable for my work and needs. Thanks for the great software. Here’s my situation. I write in Slovene and in English, and I need to make numerous references to biblical passages. I want to create an index of these citations, but I want them in the order they appear in the Bible rather than alphabetical order. Henri Menke provided a perfectly workable solution on TeX StackExchange[^1], but because this is a multi-year project, I wanted to find a bit more permanent solution. I discovered I can use Lua LPEG to parse and normalize my citations so they are referenced in a uniform style. My problem comes in the register sorting. Hans, I saw where in the paste you have recommended a “pseudo-language” to implement a custom sort in such a situation. I have almost figured out how to accomplish this. (See the MWE below.) I have no problem with single word sections (Genesis, Exodus, etc.). I can turn off indicators, do the custom sort (see below), and I get the intended result. If I have a multiple word title (Evangelij po Janezu), that technique doesn’t work. The replacement for more than one word (or if a number is involved, like 1John) doesn’t seem to work. I have no doubt there is a good reason; I’m just a newbie! It seems my options are to: 1. Figure out how to do a replacement for a phrase or a book with a number in its name. Then this technique seems to work ok. 2. Or to add an entries and figure out some way to not print the first level in the index. So the indicator will be the book name, and underneath the chapter and verses will be listed with out the book name being repeated. Are there any ideas to point me in the right direction? Kerning/italic correction problem with TeX Gyre Bonum font

Hi Hans and others! I don't know if this is a problem with the font itself or if it is ConTeXt. In any case, the test file below gives strange output (attached). In particular the space/kerning after $f$ seems to be off. Ulrike Fischer reminded me in the StackExchange chat that not so long time ago there was some similar issue with \mathcal P discussed on this list. Is it the same problem? (The input $f \tracinglostchars=0 \Uchar"EEEFF$) indeed makes it look better between the $f$ and the parenthesis.) /Mikael %%% \setupbodyfont[bonum] \starttext \startTEXpage[offset=3bp] (Look at this $f$) and this $f$? (see also $k$?, $x$? and $z$?) There might be more problems (like between $t$ and the parenthesis in $e^t$) is too small. The space between $dx$ and the bar is too small: \startformula \Bigl|\int_0^\pi\sin x\,dx\Bigr|, \stopformula Look at the $f$ and the bar: \startformula \Bigl|\int f\Bigr| \stopformula The $x$ seems to be outside the fraction: \startformula \frac{a^2}{1-x} \stopformula We add another one (in fact two) including $f$: \startformula f\Bigl(\frac{a+b}{2}\Bigr) \stopformula Also look at $\xi_0$ and $\xi_1$, the subscripts are too far away from $\xi$. Compare with $f_0$ and $f_1$, $g_0$ and $g_1$. With $\delta_f$ and $\delta_g$, I think it looks like the space is too big, in particular between $\delta$ and $f$, but maybe that is a matter of taste. \stopTEXpage \stoptext %%%
