Lines in \showbodyfontenvironment

Hi all, I played with \definebodyfontenvironment and found the command \showbodyfontenvironment. Experimentally I changed parameters at \definebodyfontenvironment and I am not able to understand the logic of the table generated by the \showbodyfontenvironment. What is the meaning of lines in the table? Or is this published somewhere? Best wishes, Tomáš

How to configure context command in Emacs

Hello, I hope there are some Emacs users out there. ;-) I can use emacs with context-mode when I start the program like this: . ~/context/tex/setuptex ; emacs & I could not find a way to set this in my emacs init file. Neither of the ways described here worked for me: https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/ExecPath I set this in .bashrc: if [-f ~/context/tex/setuptex ]; then . ~/context/tex/setuptex fi to always have context available in a shell and in emacs if I start it from bash. Starting Emacs via the start menu of Gnome results in an Emacs that does not know ConTeXt. I found some hints how to source .bashrc in emacs but this only affects the emacs shell not the command calling from within AucTeX. Has anyone found a solution for this? juh

mix two-column and single-column footnotes

Hi, Is it possible to mix two-column and single-column footnotes? Here's my use case. I have two types of footnotes: 1) short one- or two-word terms 2) long descriptions and notes On some pages there are a lot of "short" footnotes which take up a lot of space at the bottom of the page. I'd like to typeset them in 2 or 3 columns. But then the "long" footnotes had better stay in one column. See below for desired input and output. Bug in math: version

Hi Hans, With the latest beta there seems a bug has been intoduced with « \| » which should give a vertical double bar and not a simple bar. This is a minimal example: \starttext With 2019.02.10 17:43, the command \type{\|x\|} gives an incorrect result: $\|x\| = 1$ $|x| = 1$ \stoptext Best regards: OK

Minion Pro confuses italic correction

Dear list, The Minion Pro font, as distributed with Adobe Reader, confuses the ConTeXt italic correction. The MWE below will fail with luatex warning > node filter: error: ...ext/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/mkiv/typo-itc.lua:130: attempt to compare nil with number It's probably the font that is faulty but I guess ConTeXt shouldn't crash in that case. Macro in a macro with optional argument

Hello, I try to define automatically some macros to include cliparts in my TikZ drawings and I've defined the following macro : \def\clipart#1#2{% \expandafter\def\csname tk#1\endcsname{\dosingleempty\expandafter\csname dotk#1\endcsname}% \expandafter\def\csname dotk#1\endcsname[##1]{\iffirstargument\image{cisco/#1}{##1}\else\image{cisco/#1}{#2}\fi} } \clipart{pc}{.8} % defines the macro \tkpc to include the picture "cisco/pc" The issue arises when I use the newly defined \tkpc : the argument is not optional and I have to put \kpc[.5] for example. To add insult to injury, the value passed in argument is ignored also : \iffirtargument return always false... Do you have any idea ? Compilation fails on 20190210 beta with Unidentified user defined whatsit
