Dear Rudolf, It is working for me. Using my figure, I got (45126287sp,31048991sp) (1372,944) As Hans said, either change ~ to some path or set the directory of externalfigure. environment variable for runtime

Hi, I would like to typeset the runtime information that context displays at the end of typesetting: mkiv lua stats > runtime: 174.639 seconds, 913 processed pages, 913 shipped pages, 5.228 pages/second system | total runtime: 526.583 seconds Is this stored in any environment key? How could I access it? Thanks Thomas

cross references to chapters in a book

Dear wizards of ConTeXt, In the final stage of completing a book project, I was wondering how to automatize cross references to chapters. I’ve already figured out how to refer to pages (using “\at[REFERENCE]”), but how is this done with chapters? I’m apparently too simple-minded to understand the manual (and I don’t understand the differences between \reference, \textreference, \in, \about). Robert

em-dash ligature is converted to en-dash in the generic fontloader

As reported on the dev-luatex list --- is converted to an en-dash (instead of em-dash) if there are no spaces around the ---. We could now reproduce the problem also with the generic fontloader: it appears only with mode=node. I'm using the files from 2019-02-14, but the problem appeared first in the files from 2018-11-18): \font\test={file:texgyreheros-regular.otf:+tlig;mode=node;}\test dashes-these % gives dash dashes--these % gives en-dash dashes---these % gives en-dash WRONG dashes --- these % gives em-dash em-dashes---these % gives em-dash \bye context is not affected, there the code works fine. -- Ulrike Fischer https://www.troubleshooting-tex.de/

\mathematics might be missing \everymathematics

Dear Hans, In the following example I want to locally set lcgreek=normal but it is not picked up because the attribute is not propagated. When I enter \everymathematics manually it works fine. Is this by design or is this a bug? MWE below. markdown module vs pandoc

Hello, I'm interested for using markdown markup and typeset such documents via ConTeXt, but wonder whether it is recommended to use Markdown module or do markdown --> ConTeXt via Pandoc?
