\includeonly and ConTeXt components

Hi again, last question for the moment ;-) With LaTeX we can use `\includeonly` for partial compilation. The good thing is that we can still refer to labels from other files, have a complete TOC, and correct page numbers. In ConTeXt the project structure is supposed to be used for partial compilation. But it does not seem to have those features, right? Having correct page numbers across the individual components would be especially helpful. Any ways to get this? Best, Denis

Questions regarding project structure

Hi, I am just testing out the project structure. Let's suppose I have these files: - test_env.tex ``` \startenvironment * \setuphead [section] [textstyle=\bf] \stopenvironment ``` - test_project ``` \startproject * \environment test_env \product test_prod \stopproject ``` - test_prod.tex ``` \startproduct * \project test \startalignment[middle] HEY \stopalignment \component test_comp \stopproduct ``` - test_comp.tex ``` \startcomponent * \product test_prod % \project test_project % uncomment this to use the \section{Test} \input ward \stopcomponent ``` >From the documentation [https://wiki.contextgarden.net/Project_structure] I would assume two things 1. The environment should be used in the component via project=>product. 2. Everything in the product that is not in a component should be used in the component as well. Both assumptions seem not be correct. Any hints about this? Am I missing something? Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a bug somewhere? Documentation errors? Best, Denis

thumb index: \setlayer on every odd/even page?

Hai, how must I setup layers that get repeated on every even/odd page? Or should I use \doifoddpageelse with \setlayer? Or do you have a different suggestion for thumb index “boxes”? inserting figure labels

Placing a float figure with \placefigure[][]{labeltext}{\externalfigure[]} delivers a figure with a label like "Figure V.3 labeltext" (depending on the setup) Now I want to intersperse this with an \externalfigure[] not within a placefigure but still accompanied by a label in the current running series. For example an uninterrupted series of figure numbers with: \placefigure[][]{labeltext-1}{\externalfigure[figure1]} % -> Figure 1 labeltext-1 \externalfigure[figure-2] \macrocall{labeltext-2} % -> Figure 2 labeltext-2 \placefigure[][]{labeltext-3}{\externalfigure[figure3]} % -> Figure 3 labeltext-3 I could not find what macro to call as the instance for \macrocall. dr. suggestions for \definefontfamily and \definefallbackfamily

Hi Wolfgang, as I reported the issue with the fonts and LMTX, I remembered two suggestions I wanted to post here. The first one is enabling the use of "method=uppercase" in \definefallbackfamily (to get fake caps, such as in https://mailman.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2018/092878.html) The second feature is to enable \definefontfamily to load font files not part of the font database, the same way as \definefont is able to load them. Hi! I have a table with 39 columns (the file is attached).
