problem with texfont

Ahoi! I discovered a little problem while installing fonts: Actual Linotype AFMs contain overlong lines (copyright information), about 450 characters. That confuses texfont, so that the following lines are not recognized. It helps to delete these lines manually, but would it be possible to enhance texfont to handle such nasties? Hello, though this is only partly a context question, I think this is the best place to ask. I am creating MetaPost figures containing text. When these are included in a TeX document processed by pdfLaTeX, context's supp-pdf.tex is loaded to perform the conversion. Consider the simple MP file (the space is essential) -------------------------------------- defaultfont:="ptmr8r"; beginfig(1); label(" 11", origin); endfig; -------------------------------------- This will result in a file like %%Page: 1 1 -6.25003 -3.38997 moveto ( 11) ptmr8r 10.00005 fshow showpage %%EOF If this MP file is included in a context document, everything is fine. -------------------------------------- \starttext \placefigure[][]{}{\externalfigure[minimal.mps]} \stoptext -------------------------------------- If it is included in a LaTeX document -------------------------------------- \documentclass{article} \usepackage[dvips]{graphicx} \begin{document} \includegraphics{minimal.mps} \end{document} -------------------------------------- converted to ps with dvips, still everything is fine. MP keyval interface

Ahoi MP experts, i've tried to implement a keyval-interface in MP. Currently it looks like def keyvalFunc (text t) = begingroup; save status, col ; numeric status; string col ; t ; show status; show col ; endgroup; enddef; keyvalFunc(status=1.0; col="Hallo" ) ; This works, of course, but i would prefer if i could use a comma instead of the ";" to separate the keyval-pairs. Any ideas, how i can make "," be locally like ";"? Thanks in advance. Jens

Hi: Two questions: 1. How do I get section numbers in roman numerals instead of the default? 2. How do I get header texts to appear on every page AFTER the first page? The answers must be in the documentation but I haven't been able to them. I probably need new glasses :-) Thanks Matthew

Itemgroups settings

Hello, I tried the following code: \defineitemgroup[numbers] \setupnumbers[each][intro,broad,packed,joinedup][left=$(,stopper=)$,symbol=n,margin=standard] \defineitemgroup[bullets] \setupbullets[each][intro,broad,packed,joinedup][symbol=1,margin=standard] \starttext Some text first \startnumbers \item One \startbullets \item Two \stopbullets \stopnumbers \stoptext Using the 2002.10.11 version of ConTeXt, the inner itemization (bullets) does not "use" the joinedup setting. The same happens if startbullets is the external and startnumbers is the internal. It doesn't happen if both itemgroups are of the same time, nor at the first level. Ahoi, i have some questions about figure libs: 1) i can only access figures from a figure-lib if the file is in the same directory as the document that should embed the figures. New version solves one problem, creates another

Hi, I have changed the chapter style by: \def\Numer#1{\color[middleblue]{#1}} \def\Nazwa#1{\color[middlegreen]{#1}} \setuplist[chapter][before=\blank,after=\blank,style=bold] \setuphead[chapter][ numbercommand=\Numer, % before=\hairline\blank, % after=\hairline\blank, textcommand=\Nazwa, page=no, ] But after this, the text of chapter ends the page; and in the case where after/begin option is \hairline, the "before" line ends one page, but text and "after" line starts a new page. This is ugly, of course. I know I have missed something important, but I don't know what. Have you any idea? Michal Morawski
