New bib module release (2006.07.13)

Hi all, After a fairly long list of betas, I have just uploaded a new release of the bibliographic module to contextgarden.net This release fixes three bugs that were still in beta 5: * removed two incorrect spaces from bibl-num.tex * reset the interaction "style" within \type{\cite}, so that font switches from \type{\setupcite} stay in effect * a guard is added against loading bbl files multiple times It should be included automatically in the next context release. Why doesn't this inherit?

Hans et all, We don't understand, why we have to uncomment the commented line in the code below to make section numbers go away? updating minimal distribution

Hello, For some time I was doing ruby /tex/texmf-local/scripts/context/ruby/texsync.rb --update --force --destination=/tex --make to upgrade minimal distribution but it doesn't work for me anymore. Has anything changed in the meantime? Piotr

PDF bookmarks problem

Hello Hans, I've noticed a problem with PDF bookmarks when the particular chapter/section titles contain non-ascii characters and/or XML entities. I suppose some "expansion" mechanism should be added (like for the index entries)... Attached you'll find two test files demonstrating this problem. Thanks, Richard

All, I've been using this construct a lot. \startlinecorrection[blank] \midaligned{\getbuffer[table]} \stoplinecorrection My thinking was that it put a blank before and after, but now I am not sure. Am I missing something?

Hiding subanswer blocks

All, Below I have our environment for our question and answer blocks. We are attempting to have questions that have parts, as in: 1. Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada. 1a) Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada. 1b) Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada. 1c) Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, Yada, 2, 2a) 2b) Etc. However, we want to "hide" some of the shortsubanswers. We try with: \beginshortanswer \startanswer \startsubanswer[-] \stopsubanswer \startsubanswer[-] \stopsubanswer \startsubanswer[-] \stopsubanswer \startsubanswer \startbuffer ... When typeset, the first three subanswers here are hidden, but the first subanswer that is not hidden, which should be the answer to "part d," it winds up be labeled "part a" in the pdf output. regenerating formats

I downloaded the latest ConTeXt and tried regenerating the hyphenation patterns and formats (to get hyphenation with Thomas’ Greek module). The first step texmfstart ctxtools --pat was successful. But sudo texmfstart texexec --make --all (which worked with the last ConTeXt installation) and sudo -H texmfstart texexec --make --all failed with the error message sudo: texmfstart: command not found. Fortunately, sudo texexec --make --all still works, so life goes on. Still, why is this happening? Does it matter that I have the line alias texmfstart='ruby /usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.local/scripts/ context/ruby/texmfstart.rb' in my .profile rather than an executable version of the texmfstart script in my $PATH? If it does, is there a way to set things so that texmfstart is automatically available to the administrator and user whenever a Terminal session is begun? Alan

One has explicitly use \setupTABLE[r][first][bottomframe=off] to switch this frameline off too. So, 1. Is there no general 'frame=off'? 2. Is the first \setupTABLE not really working? It should, because the defaults are 'frame=on', aren't they? Wolfgang
