TOC and "Contents" entry

All - Although the manual seems to imply that \completecontent will include the "Contents" page entry itself in the TOC, it does not. I would like the "Contents" page itself to be included, in both the table of contents, and the navigation entries in the generated pdf output. I normally set it up like this: \completecontent[alternative=c,pagestyle=slanted,interaction=pagenumber] Pretty simple, but it doesn't do what I'd really like. The other style \placecontent[alternative=c,pagestyle=slanted,interaction=pagenumber] doesn't do what I want either. Is there an additional option that I'm missing. I'd like something like <page header> Contents Contents..............................................................iii Section 1.............................................................1 etc.... <page footer> Can I get this with either \completecontent or \placecontent, or will I have to use some other method? Why does \startframedtext does not honor the outside setting by \setupwhitespace? And do I have to use inner? Russian letters transliterated

Hello, I updated ConTeXt as in "updating context on Ubuntu 6.06" post and it worked, moreover I got russian hyphenation working out of the box. But I have a little problem: all my cyrillic letters displayed as transliterated latin letters (or letter codes). What should I do in this case? Arkady

Bug in ctxtools --documentation

Hi Hans, ctxtools.rb says that %D is the documetation marker. However, while matching it uses when /^[%\#]D/io then Doesn't /i stand for ignorecase, which means that %d is also matched? Is this a bug or a feature? Try generating documentation of core-fnt.tex for an interesting manifestation of this. calling texmfstart from perl in context distribution

All, I have cdwincontext installed and I am trying to run texmfstart from a perl script on windows. I tried associating file extension .rb with the ruby that comes with the context distro. Hi, how do I define the title of a combined list? -> completecontent has a predefined title (Content or Inhalt): how to change this? -> my own defined combined lists don't show any title: where to define and how to show up? Steffen

Bug with type << .. >>?

Isn't \type<<..>> be supposed to be equivalent to \type{..} ? \title{some \type{thing} } works perfectly but \title{some \type<<thing>>} gives ! regexp for matching entire footnotes

Hi, I have to find (highlight) footnotes with the entire footnote being marked/highlighted. Constructing a regexp for this is far beyond what I can write, that's why I frankly ask for help here: The problems are the (potentially) nested pairs of curled brackets (like for \index, \emphasize etc etc) ... \footnote{Vgl. zur Historie \it{Name}, „Staatssekretär\index {Staatssekretär}} ... as the found string shouldn't stop at the first "}" that was found. Somebody knows a syntax that ignores curled bracket pairs *included* in footnotes and really matches the entire note? Steffen

Hi, I am confused about the ")" and setupsection or setuphead: What I need is a section that looks like this a) text b) text and a section like this (aa) text (bb) text The conversion is clear but what about ")", resp. "(" before and ")" after the sectionnumber. How and where is this called? Steffen

sorting commalist?

In the article "Context System macros, part1: general macros" there are all sorts of interesting and useful macros. Among these I have set my eye on the processing of commalists. Question: is there a context macro that takes a commalist (either in a token register or \the\tokenregister form) that returns a sorted commalist (ascending or descending doesnt matter to me for the moment). If someone will be so kind to point one out to me. A scan through the sources didn't bring an obvious candidate to my attention although I feel there must be one, but I may overlooking it.
