how to get hanging and hz?

Hello, once upon a time, I got hanging and hz with these commands: \starttext \input tufte \page \usetypescript[serif,sans,mono,mm][hanging][normal] \setupalign[hz,hanging] \definebodyfont[12pt][rm,ss,tt,mm][default] \setupbodyfont[12pt] \input tufte \stoptext But now, it does no more work. semi-smart quotes in verbatim text?

This is puzzling me. If i type this in a text editor: \starttext These are 'quotes'. \starttyping let a = 'quoted string' \stoptyping \stoptext I'm using dumb quotes (hex 27). ConText renders this as this: These are ’quotes’. let a = ’quoted string’ ie the quotes have been educated - although only half-educated, since the opening one should be an opening one, if you see what I mean. But I really don't want characters in the verbatim (typing) section to change...because when you copy them from the PDF into an editor, the code listings don't work! There must be some kind of switch somewhere that stops ConteXt changing them? thanks for any help

Hello all, After a good break I'm back at my XML obsession and am running into the following issue: my environment-file contains these definitions \defineXMLnested [reagentlist] [sample=] {\definedescription[definition][width=broad,distance=1em,sample={\XMLop{sample}}]} {} \defineXMLnested [reagent] [label=] {\startdefinition{\XMLop{label}}} {\stopdefinition} but in use, the definition-label-width is optimized for every single case, rather than for the 'sample', meaning I get One xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Twentyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx rather than One xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Twentyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Can anyone please enlighten me as to what I'm missing here? Problem using mptopdf with Metapost containing LaTeX

Hi, I am not really a ConTeXt user but use the mptopdf script to convert my mp drawings directly into pdf which was working great in the past. Mojca, Attached. Meanwhile, I guess I should try to update my Context and see if that makes a difference. I found that I needed to update my installer and now I am realizing that I am a bit behind the times. In trying Context Updater in the update i-installer, I get this message: "You are now installing in the location for de deprecated gwTeX 2003-2005 i-Package in part based on teTeX. This is probably not what you want. I suggest you make sure you have the gwTeX i-Package based on TeX Live installed. Then the best thing is to reset this i-Package to its default package properties. It will then pick up the new default location. Looks like it wants me to install the latest tex. Any advice?
