Interaction and accented letters

Dear all, is there a way to put accented letters in the interaction command ? I tried \setupinteraction[state=start, author={Flavien Lambert}, title={Optique géométrique}, date={Septembre 2008}] and \setupinteraction[state=start, author={Flavien Lambert}, title={Optique g\'eom\'etrique}, date={Septembre 2008}] but both trials led to strange things in Acrobat Reader and Evince. -- Flavien. ---------------------------- "Quantum objects are completely crazy but, at least, they are all crazy in the same way." problem finding files (cygwin-related?)

Hi all, I try to help a colleague who has successfully installed ConTeXt using the Windows installer and has started typesetting some documents. His installation has problems finding files. Using something like "\input ./path/to/file.tex" works OK, but this doesn't: \externalfigure[./path/to/file.pdf] He gets a "figure ./path/to/file.pdf can not be found"-error, while the same code works OK with my local Windows in a VMware virtual machine. He happens to have cygwin installed (I don't have it) and I was wondering whether that is the course of his problems? How does cygwin interfere with finding the /path/to/the picture file? Can I solve this by escaping the path in some special way? Or would moving the picture to the current directory help? Thanks for any suggestions, Jelle

Arabic numbers (in MkIV) should be left to right

Arabic numbers (characters with bidi property "an") should be left to right, just as European numbers ((characters with bidi property "en"). Currently Arabic numbers are made right to left: \setupdirections[bidi=global] \starttext 12345\par ١٢٣٤٥ \stoptext Both line should have the same digits order. I think "d == "an"" in core-spa.lua line 1075 should be moved to line 1071 (I tested it and it does fix this issue for me). -- Khaled Hosny Arabic localizer and member of Arabeyes.org team

I presume that \hyphenatedfilename is for use with filenames that already have hyphens in them? Mine don't, but I want them to split. Perhaps splitting filenames is frowned upon - if so, what is the best way to put them into documents? Or perhaps I should use shorter filenames, but why should I compromise readability? One example is "Transfer functions for PID and KF controllers.xmcd" Any ideas or comments? Richard

Hyphenating hyperlinks

Why aren't the the urls broken across the lines on page2-3. I'm pretty sure the hyperref package in latex supported this, Am I missing an option somewhere? I am using \filename to type-set filenames. Some of these are very long (greater than 30 characters) and overhang the right hand margin, sometimes even disappearing off the edge of the page. The first line break is just before the full stop. There are usually plenty of spaces in the names. Can I get ConTeXt to put a line-break into filenames? Thanks, Richard

The problem of updating context manually using cont-tmf.zip

Hello everyone. I'm using TeXLive2008, and I have just updated my ConTeXt for Chinese supporting using the file downloaded from http://mirror.contextgarden.net/context/current/cont-tmf.zip. I just unzipped it into texmf-local and execute the command: texmfstart texexec --make --all I think everything is OK, but the problem comes. The version of ConTeXt is still 2008.05.21 15:21: context --version MtxRun | main context file: /usr/local/texlive/2008/texmf-dist/tex/context/base/context.tex MtxRun | current version : 2008.05.21 15:21 I don't know the exactly meaning of "main context file". I think it should be the file I just unzipped into /usr/local/texlive/texmf-local. The version of ConTeXt should be 2008.08.05. Anyone can help me updating the ConTeXt? -- Hello world!
