changing title of register displayed with \completeregistername

Hi, I'm trying to get a register to show a title other than the name of the register in the code, and not having much luck. For example, \defineregister[pgtype][pgtypes] \completepgtype produces a page with the title "Pgtype", when I'd like it to say "PostgreSQL Types" instead. (Also, the documentation led me to believe the function should be called \completepgtypes rather than \completepgtype.) The wiki suggests \setupheadtext[name=PostgreSQL Types] on http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Registers but this seems to have no effect, which makes sense to me, because it doesn't seem to have enough information. Hello, No space is printed between bla2 and bla3 with latest mkiv: \startsetups 1 \getparameters[Prefix][Text={bla1 bla2 bla3}] \stopsetups \starttext \setups{1} \PrefixText, no space between bla2 and bla3... \stoptext -- Peter

Typescript troubles with semibold font.

Hi all, my goal is to use Minion Pro as text face and Myriad Pro as sans serif in headings etc. I use TeXlive, ConTeXt 2009.11.26 16:28, MKiV. I found a typescipt once provided in this list in 2008 and adopted it. When I delete them, the semibold ones get used. My question is: Can anyone provide me some insight on how to use bold and semibold in the same document? Lets say chapter headings bold, sectionheadings semibold. Thanks in advance, Christian P.S: A guide "how to get from font files to the desired output" would be great. Steps would include where to put the fonts (.otf in my case), how to make context know the fonts, writing the typescript, using font features.

JS unicode mapping wrong again

Hi Hans, The latest beta (2011-02-08) gives me again a wrong character using widgets and JavaScript. If I enter \'a I'll get now Æ instead of á. (Though copying that character shows "á" in a text editor, so I guess it's just some mapping that's wrong.) Do you need a minimal example? Adam

strange hang during compilation

Dear all, Today, I got a strange hault during the compilation. I had a file which consists of 13 chapters. It was compiled well before this afternoon when I change the textwidth and textheight. from (12cm, 21cm) to (11cm, 19cm). It works before it reaches somewhere chapter 1 and just stop and do nothing. I check chapters one by one and found that it has problems in ch 1 - ch4 but no problem from ch 5 - to end. I copied whole text in chapter 1 to a new document. but no use. I even checked disk and repair disk, but it is not helpful. The only thing I change is the pagelayout one line. I am using Mac OSX 10.6 and ConTeXt version is 2011.01.31. Here I just give main file to show the structure. Thank you. Hi, I uploaded a new beta: * logging is cleaned up and is now more under directive control (triggered by a request of taco for silent logging) and all messages now go through the same mechanisms (as quite some files were touched there can be typos) * as a consequence one can run context with the option --silent or --silent=struct*,graph* etc in order to get less logging; these map onto the directive logs.blocked * logging looks slightly different as i'm in the process of adding subcategories; on the agenda is language dependent logging (only for non tracing messages) * as a side effect (i just ran into the code) regimes have been adapted a bit and there's now also \startregime[...] .. \stopregime that support nesting (the enable and disable commands are global); modules are always loaded under utf8 * fontgoodies can have postprocessors (maybe the older enhancer mechanism will be done in a similar fashion, predates goodies) * for those who hadn't noticed, the label translations are now in lang-txt.lua so don't patch lang-*.mkiv files. structuring Context code using \input statements.

In all forms of TeX it is my custom to start with a brief main file and call the various components of the document into the input stream with \input statements. The termination of the document is in the main file with a \stoptext statement. This works well with pdftex documents and also with MKII documents. But it fails with MKIV documents. The Context program will read and use an inserted program but will not return to the main text stream in the file that did the inputting. It just displays an * and hangs. (again) wrong page with \finishregisterentry

Hi, when \finishregisterentry is set within a paragraph then the "lastrealpage" gets the value from the page where this respective parapgraph starts. (In the example below it is 4 instead of 5.) That is quite sad when you have long paragraphs. How can I set a register range telling me lastrealpage is exactly the page where the ending mark is set? Attached you may find a minimal example. \tfx and \tf having the same size

Hello, I have noticed that \tfx and \tf yield the same size. For example in the sample below: \tfxx A\tfx A\tf A\tfa A\tfb A\tfc A\tfd A However, the documentation states that tfx should be 0.8 size of tf. (http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Font_Switching) Please, what did I get wrong? Thank you. Best regards, Tomas
