hyphenation

Using roman numbers in figures I encountered a case where XIII.9 was hyphenated into XI-II.9. A bit unclear, in my opinion. Easily repairable with something like \def\myfigure[#1]{{\nohyphens\in{figure}[#1]}} Just an observation, not really a problem but maybe something waiting to be fixed. dr. Hans van der Meer

(The authorhash does have the hyphen for the Quérard entry.) So, the question is, what can be done to get the desired (APA defined) order (alphabetize letter-by-letter, ignoring spaces, capitalization, hyphens, apostrophes, periods, and accent marks)? Beyond that, what can be done to get Montaigne sorted with M entries (displayed as “Montaigne, M. de” or “de Montaigne, M.”)? -- Rik

Hi all, usually, if one writes -- or ---, will receive real en-dash or em-dash, respectively. I just tried font called JohnBaskerville (commercial; from Štorm type foundry, CZ) but I got only '--' and '---', ie. sequences were not transformed to the proper characters. Dashes are present in then font, commands \endash and \emdash produce them correctly. What could be wrong? Best wishes, Tomáš

Problem updating 32b version

Hello, I encountered problem updating ConTeXt. I'm still using 32b built due to some deps on 3rd party libs (32b, too). Running 'first-setup.bat' doesn't create 'tex\texmf-mswin\' directory as usually. I also modified the first-setup.bat to avoid 64b platform testing - see the first-setup.txt attached (.bat renamed to .txt due to mail filters). The 'tex' dir has now: texmf\ texmf-cache\ texmf-context\ texmf-fonts\ texmf-local\ texmf-modules\ texmf-project\ texmf-win64\ setuptex setuptex.bat setuptex.csh but it used to be: texmf\ texmf-cache\ texmf-context\ texmf-fonts\ texmf-local\ texmf-modules\ texmf-mswin\ <<<< WAS HERE texmf-project\ texmf-win64\ setuptex setuptex.bat setuptex.csh The log (first-setup.bat > Upd.log) may be downloaded here (~700 kB): http://leteckaposta.cz/260806806 Could anyone test obtaining 32b version of ConTeXt? Reset bibliography numbering

Hi all, I want to use a custom bibliography for every section in document. Hardcoded file extensions in typescript

Dear devs, Motivated by https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/456435 I found that the type-imp-source.mkiv typescript hardcodes the .ttf extension for the font files. However, TeX Live distributes those files with the .otf extensions, hence they are not found. Please fix! Cheers, Henri

\setuphead for a section block

Dear list, imagine that I need a different setup for chapter in the bodymatter than in the frontmatter and appendices. The way to do it seems to be: \setuphead[chapter][style=\bf] \startsectionblockenvironment[bodypart] \setuphead[chapter][style=\em] \stopsectionblockenvironment \starttext \startfrontmatter \chapter{Introduction} \stopfrontmatter \startbodymatter \chapter{Chapter} \stopbodymatter \stoptext But wasn’t there a command similar to the following one for such purposes? \setuphead[bodypart:chapter][style=\em] I remember that there was something similar to that command to setup headings in a section block.
