Gnuplot - suggestions wanted

I've put some preliminary version of "context terminal" for gnuplot on http://pub.mojca.org/gnuplot/. Since the conversation about possible improvements of the terminal would be a bit too much off-topic for this mailing list, you can join the brainstorming area on http://groups.google.com/group/gnuplot-context. If any gnuplot user is interested in the way that ConTeXt could communicate with gnuplot, feel free to write suggestions on that list or to me personally. There's still much to be done, most notably handling text, 3D plotting, color palettes as well as the ConTeXt-side of support (direct inclusion of those graphics into documents & some \setupGNUPLOT[... = ...]), but for 2D plots it's already useful. If you want to try it, you can get source from https://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=2055, add context.trm (you get it on the link posted above) into term/ folder, add #include "context.trm" to src/term.h and try to compile from within src folder. I've also uploaded a windows binary, but I don't give any warranty for it (I'll upload a slightly fixed version soon). Mojca

interaction and hyphenation

Hello, how could I get hyphenated interaction texts? Example with overfull \hbox: \setupinteraction[state=start] \definereferenceformat[inFig][text=Abbildung] \starttext \placefigure[][fig1]{bla}{bla} \dorecurse{58}x, siehe \inFig[fig1]. \stoptext Thanks in advance for any help! Force an indent

All, How can I force an indent on my last paragraph? My attempt below does not work. I don't really want to redefine any setups, I just want an indent this one time. %output=pdf \starttext Again, we choose to multiply the fours, then the result by the square root of three. That is, \placeformula[-] \startformula 4(4\sqrt3) =16\sqrt3. \stopformula \indent By induction, we can argue that that the associative and commutative properties will allows us to group and arrange the product of more than three numbers in any order that we please. \stoptext

The total set of distributed files now consists of eight files; the zip containing a repackaging of cont-lmt.zip and the zip containing pattern files have been deleted. The zip with windows font support has merged with the remaining zip with font metrics. A very short list of changes is given below. gnuplot mode

Hi all, I'm trying to use the gnuplot mode (texlive+ ConTeXt 2006.02.03) and the command texexec --pdf --mode=demo m-gnuplot results in a m-gnuplot.pdf where only the png is correctly displayed... All the m-gnuplot-gnuplot-*.pdf are unknown... I assume I have missed something... But what ? Cheers, Renaud

framedtext white above

In framedtext I see some whitespace just below the topframe and the first row of text. At the bottom this is not the case, the textbottom and framebottom are close together. Here is a minimal example, the whitespace is just above the first row of b's How can I get rid of the white on the top? \starttext \startframedtext[depthcorrection=off,offset=0pt,strut=no]% bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb\crlf bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb \stopframedtext \stoptext depthcorrection does the trick for the bottom. Sections with additional dot: a little request

Hello Hans, The sections in Slovenian have to be numbered wih dots at the end: 1. Introduction 2. Contents 2.1. Subsection 2.1.1. Subsubsection 2.1.2. Subsubsection 2.2. Subsection 2.3. Subsection 3. Bibliography rather than 1 Introduction 2 Contents 2.1 Subsection 2.1.1 Subsubsection 2.1.2 Subsubsection 2.2 Subsection 2.3 Subsection 3 Bibliography There are many commands in ConTeXt which support "delimiter" key, but here the delimiter already stands for the dot delimiting subsequent numbers in this case. There's a possible solution listed on http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Dotted_number_in_caption, ie: \def\Dot#1{#1.} \setuphead[section][numbercommand=\Dot] \setuplist[section][numbercommand=\Dot] \setuplist[subsection][numbercommand=\Dot] \setuplist[subsubsection][numbercommand=\Dot] but this cannot be built into "languagespecifics" as such since it interferes with user-defined "numbercommands" (if the user defines his own numbercommand, the dot would disapear). This is low-priority (can be circumvented and done properly if needed), but I would be very glad if an additional keyword & its setting could make its way into "languagespecifics" once in the future if possible. LaTeX people did that (not aplicable to ConTeXt at all): \renewcommand\thepart {\@Roman\c@part} \renewcommand\thesection {\@arabic\c@section.} \renewcommand\thesubsection {\thesection\@arabic\c@subsection} \renewcommand\thesubsubsection{\thesubsection.\@arabic\c@subsubsection} \renewcommand\theparagraph {\thesubsubsection.\@arabic\c@paragraph} \renewcommand\thesubparagraph {\theparagraph.\@arabic\c@subparagraph} \renewcommand\appendix{\par \setcounter{section}{0}% \setcounter{subsection}{0}% \renewcommand\thesection{\@Alph\c@section.}} Also, Part 1 may be written as "1. poglavje" (with dot) or "Poglavje 1" (without dot), so there has to remain an option to remove a dot only for a certain title if necessary. The only online reference I know (list of mistakes in babel) is written in Slovenian http://nl.ijs.si/gnusl/tex/tslovene/slolang/node98.html-l2#SECTION000203140… but I guess that the content can at least partially be evident from the TeX sources. Once again the same comment as the last time with itemizing. If this will ever be implemented and added, it will change the behaviour (and break the old behaviour in a way), but I guess that there are not so many people typesetting Slovenian in ConTeXt yet. There will be less harm if a few old documents are fixed than if tons of other newer documents are typeset wrong. Thanks a lot, Mojca
