I've written a new style but it won't load with \usemodule[race]. Error: system : module race not found File: s-race.tex File is in the search path How can I get this style to load? Do I have to register it with ConTeX? If so, how do I do that? Thanks in advance, Elliot

page float in columnset

Hi wizards, let me go back to columnsets. I try to place a float spanning the whole page area. When doing that the running text placing exactly one page is completely and forever lost! Please see example: ----------------------------------------- \setuplayout[grid=yes] \showgrid \starttext \startcolumnset \dorecurse{4}{#1 --- \input knuth \blank\endgraf} \placefigure[here]{none}{% \framed [width=\makeupwidth,height=\textheight,offset=overlay] {Page float.}} \dorecurse{10}{#1 --- \input knuth \blank\endgraf} \stopcolumnset \stoptext ------------------------------------------- Switching here -> page, tops, ... does not solve the problem. The similar behaviour is observed when a float has one column width and fit the whole column height. Is there some solution or another way how to do that and preserve the text? Thanks Vit

Dear wizards of ConTeXt, may I bother you with a small question about my typescripts (yes, that is a minor obsession with me...). I have two fonts defined in typescripts, font bar is scaled at a certain factor to match the size of font foo. If I specify an "unusual" size for the bodyfont (say 19.5pt), I have to put these lines in my preamble: \definebodyfontenvironment[19.5pt] \starttypescript [serif] [default] [size] \definebodyfont [19.5pt] [rm] [default] \stoptypescript and I get the output I want, but alas, not in the footnotes: there, font bar is not scaled. Would it help to add the size of the footnote font in these definitions explicitly? And what would this size be (I thought it was "small" which should default to 19.5/1.2=13.83, but adding 13.8pt didn't work)? I tried to read font-ini.tex, but this line {\doifdefined{\s!default########1####1} made my head explode... Thanks, and best Thomas

Hello, I'd like to include a short quote in classical greek with all diacritics in a ConTeXt document which is otherwise plain english. What is a good way of doing this? Do I need to change the encoding? Thanks, Matthias

I guess I am getting a left margin when I enclose some text in a \framedtext and want to get rid of it. The manual gives as settable parameter "margin = standard,yes,no. However there is no visible effect when using "margin=no" in the setup. Inspecting the code for setupframedtexts I could not foun something like \c!margin. Is this an obsolete parameter? How can I reset the height of a row in \bTABLE..\eTABLE?

Hello All, The example below shows two tables. The first table has the height of its 1st row explicitly set, which then carries over to the second table causing the content to overflow the boundaries of the table. My question: Is there a way to either a) reset the row height for the second table using something like \setupTABLE[r][1][height=auto] or b) set the minimum height of a row e.g. \setupTABLE[r][1][minheight=3ex] so that the height is able to expand if necessary? I found a macro named \resetallTABLEparameters but it doesn't seem to have the desired effect. hyphenation exceptions

Hello, I don't want to tell TeX about hyphenation exceptions in the text, only once for all in an environment file. How can I do this with words like "DNA-Fragmente" or "$\beta$-Verknüpfung" ? \hyphenation{...} does not seem to work here, and I don't want to write DNA-Frag\-men\-te nor $\beta$-Ver\-knüp\-fung in the text. Hi all, I use : TeXExec 5.4.3 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1997-2005 texexec : TeXExec 5.4.3 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1997-2005 texutil : TeXUtil 9.0.0 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1992-2004 tex : pdfeTeXk, 3.141592-1.30.4-2.2 (Web2C 7.5.5) context : ver: 2006.01.28 10:09 cont-en : ver: 2005.10.27 fmt: 2005.12.2 mes: english total run time : 2 seconds with m-bib-beta-20051123b and my problem is that: % in environment \setupheadtext[fr][pubs=Bibliographie] % in a product \startfrontmatter ... \completecontent[alternative=c,criterium=all,interaction=all] ... \stopfrontmatter ... \startbackmatter % in a product \completepublications[criterium=all,interaction=all] \stopbackmatter doesn't give any "Bibliographie" entry when I call \completecontent I have read the bib user manual.
