Capitalisation of titles in headers

Hi, I want to ensure that the titles displayed in the header always begin with a capital letter regarless of any truncation with \nomarking.. I tried the following in my environment but it doesn't work: \setupheadertexts[\Cap{\getmarking[Title][current]}][Author] What should I use? Thanks, Elliot

Hi to all, I've always used $\to$ to create arrows in my presentations. After last update I have an undefined control sequence arrow. I can use $\rigtharrow$ but cannot understand... columns in framedtext

It seems not possible to typeset in columns (\startcolumns[n=3]... \stopcolumns) within a \startframedtext...\stopframedtext. It all comes out in one long column. How can I accomplish this? yours sincerely, dr. H. van der Meer

Hello out there, I use Taco's bib module and have a question concering labels/numbering. In the text I use \cite[knuth:texbook] and want to have a label like [1]. In the list of publications I have all bib entries also labeled [1], [2], ... but the ordering in the textbody is incorrect. The first citation in the text is labeled [6] while the corresponding entry in the list of publications it is labeled [1]. The number 6 probably comes from the bib database, where [knuth:texbook] is the 6th entry. So, how do I get [1] both in the place where I cite [knuth:texbook] and in the list of publications? metafun: problems, problems & problems again

Hello, This metafun will soon drive me crazy. 1. I can't make textext work Once upon a time I only had problems in MikTeX, now standone is causing me problems as well. I have: - write18 / -shell-escape enabled - \runMPgraphicstrue \runMPTEXgraphicstrue \useMETAFUNformattrue \protectbufferstrue enabled (I don't know where to look further). But I still get no figures at all under MikTeX and "undefined" labels with the standalone. 2. mptopdf doesn't work under MikTeX (as already mentioned), but that's not so critical since I can still use texmfstart or write my own .bat file to run it 3. metafun reformats the whole metapost source (including that in verbatin) and so you can never predict what will come out; often the TeX commands fail to work and while it's possible to easily debug plain metapost sources, metafun swallows most of the error warnings somehow, so you don't get any output, but no error reports either. 4. I have problems with \loadfontfilesoncetrue. I searched through mailing list archives and found out that that problems was already present in 2002 and that someone solved it by deleting all ConTeXt files from MikTeX. I don't understand why since I have fresh MikTeX distribution on the computer, but I'll try that. 5. I hoped to be able to use gnuplot with context terminal, but the file I produced crashes pdfetex 1.30.3--2.2 (in stand-alone distro). 1.21a under MikTeX doesn't crash, but since there is no output it might be that the older version never gets to the point where it would crash. Heading next to figure

Hi! I hope this message won't be double posted, as I tried to send it already when i wasn't a member of this list. I have a floating figure (\placefigure) on the right side of the page. Now I'd like to have some text with headings (\subject in my case) next to it. The problem is, that the headings start below the figure, and not next to it. Is there a way to avoid that spacing and have the headings next to the figure? -Volker.
