The name of the current section?

Good evening. Is there some command simmilar to \headnumber[section] that would tell me the name of the current chapter/section/...? I want to have the headertext on the left like this: [pagenumber] [chapter title] (chap. [chapter number]) and on the right side like this: [section title] (sec. [section number]) [pagenumber] where [x] is value of x, e.g. [pagenumber] is the number of the current page. How can I do it? Many thanks Michal Kvasnicka

French quotes

Hello, Processing this source: \enableregime [utf] \mainlanguage [french] \starttext Let's quote \quote{something}. \stoptext with ConTeXt ver: 2004.4.9 fmt: 2004.5.20 int: english mes: english results in pdf with strange symbols instead of french quotation marks. It used to work fine with: ConTeXt ver: 2004.1.13 fmt: 2004.5.1 int: english mes: english Has something changed in font processing since then? David

draft stamp

Dear gang, What is the simplest way to add a grey watermark to a draft document that says "DRAFT" on each and every page. I will be using eomega so I will have etex but not pdftex (in case that makes a difference. The <DRAFT> should be enlarged (bigger than \tfd perhaps) and run diagonal across the textblock (say, lower left to upper right corner). (There is actually an example of this in the LaTeX Graphics Companion using some dvips trick but I'd rather not go that route...) More funky: Maybe we can have a series of \tfd <Draft>'s across and down the textblock, say, 3 x 6 matrix. I've been away 4 a long time, finally getting back into circulation. Hi Contexers, I've used Acrobat 6 to import and create .pdfs for inclusion as images, not thinking about compatibility mode (set by default on acrobat 6 I suppose). When I try to texexec a .tex doc with such pdf inclusions, i get this output : Error: pdfetex (file ./pieces-graphiques-l.pdf): pdf inclusion: found pdf version <1.5>, but at most version <1.4> allowed ==> Fatal error occurred, the output PDF file is not finished! old charts bug

\externalfigure and dvi-output

Hello, when using \externalfigure, the figure is shifted to the right in dvi-output. How could I fix this? I don't speak Dutch, so I am partly guessing at what you are asking for. Look at the LaTeX package "setspace," which may be found at ftp://ftp.dante.de/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/setspace. The package is described at pages 106-08 of The LaTeX Companion (2nd ed. 2004). The package adjusts interline spacing either globally with a spacing command in the preamble (e.g., \usepackage{setspace} \doublespacing) or locally using a spacing environment (e.g., with the command \usepackage{setspace} in the preamble, \begin{spacing}{2.0}text\end{spacing}). Another Metafun issue

Hi, when trying to set fractions or non-square roots in Metapost figures using the Metafun macro textext (textext("\frac{a}{b}") or textext("\root a \of b")), I get the error message !Undefined control sequence $\setbox \rootbox \hbox {$\mathsurround \z @ \scriptscriptstyle {a }$}\m... in case of the root and !Missing $ inserted. <inserted text> $ <to be read again> \mathchoice l.11 $\relax ${{\mathchoice {\displaystyle a}{\textstyle a}{\scriptstyle a}{... in case of the fraction. I probably made some stupid error, but I can't seem to find it. Best regards, Sebastian
