Wrong page break in sequence of headings

Dear all, I have a problem with page breaking in a sequence of titles (for example chapter, section, subsection) : a page break can occur between titles. I tested this with the last beta version ConTeXt ver: 2014.09.06 20:59 MKIV beta with the following example % ------------- Start of example ----------------------------- \setuphead[chapter][page=no] \starttext \chapter{Chap 1} \section{Bryson} \input bryson \section{Davis} \input davis \section{filler 1} Ipsam vero urbem Byzantiorum fuisse refertissimam atque ornatissimam signis quis ignorat? Similarly the "Group 1" title is located at the bottom of the second page. I tried to use \startsection ... \stopsection but got the same result. Is there a setup to get the page breaks right ? Or is this a bug ? Weird error

Hi, There was a question on TeX.SX about an error message http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/200474/setuppagenumberinglocation-ca… The following MWE shows the same error \setupfootertexts[\namedheadnumber{chapter}] \setuppagenumbering[location=,alternative=doublesided] \starttext \completecontent \chapter{Creating device driver} \section{How to create the} Chapter text \stoptext which gives lua error > error on line 8 in file /tmp/test.tex: ...uild/src/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/strc-doc.lua:904: attempt to index field 'numbers' (a nil value) stack traceback: ...uild/src/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/strc-doc.lua:904: in function 'getsectionnumber' [\directlua]:1: in main chunk The error is weird because it only appears when all parts of the minimal example are present. If I comment either or `location=,` or `alternative=doublesided` or `\completecontent` or `\section{...}`, the error goes away! Any thoughts? Aditya

Two errors in test file.

Here is the test file: -------------------------------------- \definefontfamily [myfamily][serif][MinionPro Serif] \definefontfamily [myfamily][sans][MyriadPro Sans] \definefontfamily [myfamily][italic][MinionPro Italic] \setupbodyfont[myfamily] \starttext \rm foo \startitemize[a] \item {\bf Inkscape} \item Scribus \item Gimp \stopitemize \stoptext --------------------------------------- First, nothing prints. Second, if I say \startitemize[1] I get an error on the first \item line. I suspect that the default font doesn't have the big dot character. Bussproofs or derivation trees

Hello, I have searched for a solution for making proof trees, but I have failed to find a working setup. Does anyone know of a solution? I have used bussproofs.sty with LaTeX, and have seen that discussed on this list some years ago: http://www.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2010/051489.html (How) can I use this package in ConTeXt? I have also looked at this metapost package, but it seems this package relies deeper on LaTeX: http://tug.ctan.org/graphics/metapost/contrib/macros/drv/drv.mp Have anyone other suggestions? -- Trond Thorbjørnsen

Etal and bibliography

Hi, I would like to limit the number of authors in bibliographies to one and use *et al*. I read the documentation and tried to use etallimit=1 in \btxrenderinglistvariant without success. What is the exact procedure? Best, Flavien.
