two issues with new hyphenator

Many thanks for your new beta, Hans. >From the previous beta with the new hyphenator, I have two issues. With the new hyphenator, \hyphenation isn’t honored, such as in this sample: \setuphyphenation[method=traditional] \hyphenation{Nietz-sche} \starttext \hsize\zeropoint Nietzsche \stoptext Has the command been deprecated with the new hyphenator? The second issue is the ability to enable underscore hyphenation. Is there any way to apply the following definition to \hyphenatedurl? \unexpanded\def\underscorehyphenation#1% {\dontleavehmode \begingroup \prehyphenchar\minusone \localrightbox{\llap{\smash{\lower.1ex\hbox{_}}}}% \setbox\scratchbox\hbox{#1}% \prehyphenchar`-\relax \unhbox\scratchbox \endgroup} (This is adapted from the last sample in lang-url.mkiv.) underscore hyphenation

Hans, the sample below hyphenates right what comes before \TexC in the paragraph. Also the contents of \TexC are hyphenated right. But hyphen is removed from standard text after the last \TexC command in the paragraph. I have just accidentally discovered it. Ctx & XML

Hello, I'm having problem using LuaXml library with Ctx, both using Lua ver. 5.2. LuaXml works fine with Lua standalone programs/scripts; but something weird occurs when used from within Ctx (e.g. a .xml file can be read successfully from standalone Lua with LuaXml lib; but the same code doesn't give the desired result when used in combination with Ctx; a problem might be version mismatch - I'm still using both Lua 5.1 and 5.2 including 3rd party modules in my scripts - but my latest tests with Ctx & LuaXml should have avoid this; or namespace mismatch...?). Anyway, does native Ctx XML API (has it its own namespace, like 'context.xml'?) provide a function to load a .xml file and to return its XML tree as a table, with nodes (as a table with node attributes as table members) in a proper sequence... something like LuaXml's 'xml.load("file.xml")' does? Or how to achieve this in a best way under Ctx: XML file -> Lua table/tree? Best regards, Lukas -- Ing. bug in latest beta?

Hans, after updating to latest beta I get an error when compiling the sample bellow with beta from 2014.12.09 13:03: \setupitaliccorrection[global,always] \definefontfamily[mainface][serif][TeX Gyre Pagella] \setupbodyfont[mainface,15pt] \def\ConTeXt{Con\-\TeX{}t} \starttext \itc The Book on \ConTeXt \medskip \tfa\setupinterlinespace[2.6ex] {\sc The Author} \par \currentdate \stoptext Beta from 2014.11.26 21:43 compiles it without problems. issue with t-scancsv.lua

Hello Jaroslav, I have discovered that it is impossible to change letter cases with fields imported with t-scancsv.lua. Problems with repeating layers

Hello I try to use layers to position a figure on top of the leftmargin area. I use code like the following: \definelayer[MyLayer][option=test] \setupbackgrounds[text][leftmargin][background=MyLayer] \setlayer[MyLayer][x=0cm,y=0cm] {\externalfigure[cow][width=2cm]} This image get's repeated every page but I only want it on the first page. The parameter state=start does not change anything. Is there a way to disable the layer on the next page. Also there seems to be a bug with \showframe. When I use this command my figure is only displayed on the first page (as desired). When I use \setupbackgrounds[page][background=MyLayer] this problem does not occur. But I have to shift the figure to place it in the leftmargin. I tried to use another concept like \definelayer[test] \startuseMPgraphic{oeps} register ("somepos-1",0cm,0cm,center currentpicture) ; \stopuseMPgraphic \setMPlayer [test] [somepos-1] {\externalfigure[cow][width=2cm]} \getMPlayer [test] {\useMPgraphic{oeps}} but that does not seem to work at all. hi list, new to `context' and my first question to the list: how can I achieve the following (`latex') behaviour: \newcommand{\km}{\ensuremath{K_m}} We can now use \km\ in the body text as well as in this \begin{equation} \km = 1 \end{equation} display equation. in `context'? I've tried something like \def\km{\math{K_m}} We can now use \km\ in the body text but get sytnax errors when putting it in this \startformula \km = 1 \stopformula formula. but this fails for obvious reasons (as would using `$$' instead of `ensuremath' in the `latex' case). so what I need is a way of defining (potentially complex) math-expressions via some shortcuts/definitions/macros/abbreviations (whatever) which I can then use in the formula environment (or whatever it's called in `context'...) as well as in the body text. any help appreciated, joerg -- Using Opera's revolutionary email client: http://www.opera.com/mail/
