Hello: I have to setup caption formatting for Hungarian. In Hungarian I have to write "#. figure." instead of "Figure #:" The exact word for "figure" is "ábra", so what I want exactly is: "# ábra.", eg "1. ábra". How can I do it? (If I set the document language to Hungarian, the word "ábra" is shown correctly but the order is not correct; I get ,. ábra:#.) Another question: for caption text I want it to be justified and the last line of the caption centered. How can I do that? Thanks, bcsikos

Turning off French character spacing

Dear everyone, I am writting a French document. I would like to turn off the French character spacing temporarily in order to typeset English document title or URL. For instance, I would like to define the commands \def\englishtitle#1{\turnofffrenchcharacterspacing{\em #1}\turnonfrenchcharacterspacing} \def\url#1{\turnofffrenchcharacterspacing{\em #1}\turnonfrenchcharacterspacing} so that a title link “Example: English Title” will be italicised and will not have a space before “:”; and a URL like “http://www.example.com” neither. line spacing (\setupinterlinespace) with grid

Hello: When I set grid layout on (\setuplayout[grid=yes]) \setupinterlinespace has no effect. Here is an example: \setuplayout[grid=yes] % or grid=no \starttext \input tufte \par \setupinterlinespace[small] \input tufte \par \setupinterlinespace[medium] \input tufte \par \setupinterlinespace[big] \input tufte \par \setupinterlinespace[1] \input tufte \par \setupinterlinespace[1.3] \input tufte \par \setupinterlinespace[1.5] \input tufte \par \setupinterlinespace[2] \input tufte \par \setupinterlinespace[3] \input tufte \stoptext I attach the correpsonding pdf outputs (with grid on and off). My context version according to the log files: tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/cont-yes.mkiv ConTeXt ver: 2014.01.03 00:40 MKIV current fmt: 2015.4.1 int: english/english system > 'cont-new.mkiv' loaded How can I change/set line spacing when grid layout is turned on? Figure-libray/resource library

Hi all! I am working on an older project… Herein a resource-library is used. Now I have the problem, that Context does not find page 103 (resulting in a fatal error: LuaTeX error: PDF inclusion: required page <103> does not exist ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced!). When I put the the figure contained on page 103 as an \externalfigure[mylibrary][page=103], the figure is displayed. — Now I tried to remake the resource library with changing the format from MKII to MKIV. However there seems to be a problem, since I get only two pages of output. Even with the enclosed minimal I get only two empty pages… What to do? Thank you for advice! Kind regards Willi

SyncTeX and mkiv

Hi all, Using TeXShop on a Mac (with Mac OS X 10.2) I noticed that some of my documents typeset with mkiv do not respond correctly regarding SyncTeX: when I do « Command-Click » on a specific part of the resulting PDF there is no reaction at all, that is I do not get to the corresponding part of the source TeX file. Nevertheless when I click in the source TeX file, SyncTeX shows the corresponding highlighted part of the PDF file. So my question is the following: is there some change in mkiv, or in the way TeXShop has to be tuned? The command I use to typeset is: context --synctex=1 --autogenerate "$1" —purgeall and the version of ConTeXt I have is ConTeXt ver: 2015.03.30 23:33 MKIV beta fmt: 2015.3.31 Thanks in advance for any help. Having difficulty getting unicode characters to display in ConTeXT out put PDF

I am having difficulty getting Unicode characters to display correctly in PDF output using ConTeXT. Also, the PDF Bookmarks are not showing in this example. ConTeXt ver: 2014.12.11 12:02 MKIV beta fmt: 2014.12.15 int: english/english I am attaching a minimal example. adjust text width mkiv

I am still matching my file with a previous InDesign layout. On one particular page I want to narrow the text width a bit to cause the bottom line to fill the full text width. I have tried adjusting \hsize within braces, and changing setlayout. I am considering putting all the text in a framedtext but with the frame suppressed. Help wanted: cross referencing

Maybe a third post will get attention from a guru… Hi all, As explained in the example below, I would like to setup the referencing mechanism so that a cross reference within a given chapter gives only the number of the section and that of an equation, while if the same reference is used in another chapter then the number of the chapter is also included. Is this possible with mkiv?
