Hidden section - weird counting?

Hello, let's have the following example with hidden section: ---- \definehead[HidSec][section] \setuphead[HidSec][placehead=hidden] \starttext \placecontent \hairline \HidSec{A} \subsection{B} \subsection{C} \stoptext ---- It gives: " 1.1 B 1 ------- 1.2 B 1.2 C " Whilst I'd expect: " 1.1 B 1 1.2 C 1 ------- 1.1 B 1.2 C " Is my idea wrong, i.e. is "hidden" attribute for \setuphead intended differently or ... ? Beta problem with arranging XY

Hi, It seems that the latest betas have a problem with the XY arrangement and/or \setuppaper. The attached file used to run fine, but lately all the placements are off (the address labels should be roughly centered on the A4 page). I am not sure how long ago this started going wrong, sorry (I often use a context installation from 2012 instead of the beta). Best wishes, Taco

rsync server down?

Hi, for several days, I've seen errors while using first-setup.sh to upgrade to the latest version; the rysnc command fails because of server error. I tried on different computers and several networks, so I guess it's not just me but something is amiss there. Is it the heat? But the garden works normally... All best Thomas

Dear all! I want to define a command that is to be used in a section title. Also I want to use \autoinsertnextspace with this command. In the following MWE, why do \This and \AName not work, while \TEX does work? Math alignment

The example below shows the intended output when using original TeX code (compiled with ‘context' of TeX Live 2015): a pair of left braced formulas. The first comment shows what works in AMS-LaTeX. However, when trying similar ConTeXt commands, I get the error shown in the comment below. hyphenation exceptions?

Has something happened to hyphenation? The following does not work \language[nl] \startexceptions[nl] Am-ster-dam \stopexceptions Neither does \hyphenation{Am-ster-dam} Only in the context-source Am\-ster\-dam is working. How to load a series of hyphenation exceptions instead of explicitely spelling out the breakpoints in the source? Hans van der Meer

Environments

ConTeXt does not seem to have LaTeX style environments. FYI, for the latter, I developed [1] a long time ago more advanced ones: The environments admit hooks, i.e., code executed before and after the local group. The name can be omitted in the closing, which works also when using one environment to define a new. Smallmatrix not implemented

Smallmatrix from AMS-TeX is not implemented in ConTeXt (Tex Live 2015), though crossed out in m-newmat.tex. I found this old post: http://www.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2005/013146.html

Dear list, I have the following sample: \appendtoks \let\sethyphenationfeatures[underscore]\space \to \simplifiedcommands \setupinteraction[state=start] \placebookmarks[chapter] \starttext \chapter{\sethyphenationfeatures[underscore] code} \stoptext Is there a way that I can add the whole "\sethyphenationfeatures[underscore]" to \simplifiedcommands?
