Dear List, is it possible to achieve the following: First section .... Some Text Second section .... Some Text Table of Contents 1 First section 2 Second section I tried both: a) \setuphead[section][sectionnumber=no] b) \setupheads[sectionnumber=no] I also tried \setuphead[section][number=no] This gave me sections without numbers, but als a ToC without numbers Thanks Erik

escaping quotes in \ctxlua

Ampersand followed by semicolon in XML: possible bug?

Hello list, I've found what it looks like a bug in XML handling in ConTeXt. Try this: \startbuffer[test] <text>  Me & my friends; you & your friends.  Me & my friends. You & your friends.  Me & my friends; you & your friends. </text> \stopbuffer \startxmlsetups xml:somesetups \xmlsetsetup{#1}{text}{xml:text} \xmlsetsetup{#1}{p}{xml:p} \stopxmlsetups \xmlregistersetup{xml:somesetups} \startxmlsetups xml:text \xmlflush{#1} \stopxmlsetups \startxmlsetups xml:p \xmlflush{#1}\par\blank[line] \stopxmlsetups \starttext \xmlprocessbuffer{main}{test}{} \stoptext In the first case, the ampersand and the following semicolon are eaten up. I've found a way around, until the bug is fixed (if it's a bug and not my limited knowledge of ConTeXt): put a XML comment after the ampersand, and everything works as expected.

Error notification on the wiki (Loops_and_Recursion)

Hello ConTeXist. Obviously, I discovered a mistake on the ConTeXt wiki. In section of cycles at URL http://wiki.contextgarden.net/System_Macros/Loops_and_Recursion are mentioned macros \looplevel and \loopdepth. (In text: When needed, one can call for \looplevel and \loopdepth.) It seems, that these macros are not defined. Or I make anything wrong? Jaroslav Hajtmar

Next problem with rfc4180splitter()

Hello ConTeXist, Some time ago, Hans solved my problem with the splitter. Now I solve correction an error in my module, which to me signaled Pablo Rodriguez. The problem is with jednosloupcovými CSV files, which thus do not contain separators row fields. Pablo say, that CSV files without colon contains separators, because line breaks are separators. Commas—or semicolons—are required when having more than a cell in the same line. For example LibreOffice Calc spares the final semicolon when only the file only contains one column and this behavior seems to be right, according to the RFC4180: Common Format and MIME Type for Comma-Separated Values (CSV) Files. We think that the final comma separator should optional, not mandatory. The following example shows, however, that rfc4180splitter () in onecolumn CSV file fails and falls with an error. Making I'm a mistake somewhere, or is something else wrong with the splitter? I would like to restrict the tableofcontents to chapters only, leaving the sections etc. out. \completecontent does not seem the right command here. I am sure it is simple, but I don't see it. How to accomplish? Hans van der Meer

PPCHTEX: bonds overlaps the radicals groups

Some time ago I wrote the code attached to create random branched organic molecules. However, with recent versions of Context the carbon-carbon bonds overwrites the radicals. How can I fix this? Another question: is there a way to change the bonds color? I would like to blank some radicals and bonds and ask the students to draw it. Thanks and have a nice sunday.

Hi wizards, in my current book projects I need a list of figure references, ordered by author and page number. Like this: Photos: Hans Hagen (p.1,4,6,7), Taco Hoekwater (p.2,12–20), Hraban Ramm (p.3ff.) How can I do that? I.e. - How can I assign an author name/reference to a figure? – How can I output that list? About like this?: \placefigure[top][someref]{\externalfigure[somepic]}\reference[someref]{Hraban Ramm} \ref[t][someref] (\at{p.}[someref]) % put this in some command that is called by \listoffigures ? Question on register sort order and default method

Why does the sort order (for registers, lists of synonyms, and so on) differ when no method is specified compared to when method=default is specified?
