Dear list, I have the following sample: \showframe\showgrid \setuplayout[setups=*lessstrict] \startsetups[*lessstrict] \setup[reset] \widowpenalty=10000 \clubpenalty=10000 \brokenpenalty=0 \stopsetups \setupbodyfont[pagella, 12.6pt] \starttext \chapter{Quotes} \section{Zapf} \dorecurse{4}{\input zapf\par} \subsection{Knuth} \input knuth \stoptext Compiling it with beta from 2015.03.25 22:13, page break is fine. But with latest beta from 2015.05.24 12:42 (or even with beta from 2015.05.15 11:42 includes a wrong page break. The setups for widow and orphan lines move the two last lines to the next page. [BUG]: `referenceprefix' in `\setuphead' ruins `\cite'

Hello, I think I've experienced a severe bug here. Consider the following: \setuphead [chapter][% referenceprefix={chapter}, ] ... \cite[xxx] ... \startpublication[ k={xxx}, t={...}, a={...}, y={...}, ] ... \stoppublication \startchapter [title={BIBLIOGRAPHY}] \whitespace \placepublications \stopchapter will render [[error 2]] in place of `\cite[xxx]' because of `referenceprefix' in `\setuphead'. Why? I don't believe `referenceprefix' in `\setuphead' should have something to do with `\cite' at all. Thankfully, it's pretty rare that one uses `chapter' for bibliography, but still I think it's better to fix this. For instance, right now the following works fine for me: \setuphead [chapter][% referenceprefix={chapter}, ] \setuphead [title][% referenceprefix={}, ] ... \cite[xxx] ... \startpublication[ k={xxx}, t={...}, a={...}, y={...}, ] ... \stoppublication \starttitle [title={BIBLIOGRAPHY}] \whitespace \placepublications \stoptitle NOTE: It's extremely important to explicitly do `referenceprefix={}' for `title' because somehow `title' inherits `referenceprefix={chapter}' from `chapter'; and therefore, not doing `referenceprefix={}' will again result in [[error 2]] in place of `\cite[xxx]'. Automatic character replacements/substitutions

Hi, Can someone please help me remind how to automatically "replace" a Greek letter (gamma (γ) in particular, but I wouldn't mind if the whole alphabet would be replaced) with $\mathgreekupright γ$. The OpenType font (Lucida) doesn't have Greek characters (except for maybe μ), but the math alphabets in the math font are complete, so I would like to automatically use the characters from the Greek math in main text (possibly upright math in upright text and italic math in italic text). Of course I can always create a shortcut for $\mathgreekupright γ$ but it would be great if things like "γ rays" or "α particles" would be typeset "automatically". Thank you very much, Mojca

toc and macro

Hi, I hope that this is the right address to post my question. If not I would be glad for a tip. I wanted to do something like this: _______________________ \unprotect %This line uncommented leads to an error \def\tit{Oops!} \def\Teil{\dodoubleempty\doTeil} \def\doTeil[#1][#2]#3{% \def\tit{#1} %... \startchapter[title={\tit},reference={#2}] #3 \stopchapter %... } \protect \starttext \completecontent \doTeil[Hallo][hallo]{Text Text Text Text Text Text Text} \stoptext _______________________ It works if i use #1 direct (like this): \startchapter[title=#1,reference={#2}] But how can I wrap it in the \tit? (wrapping #2 works fine) I wanted to programm \doTeil so, that I can nest it freely (for example with \input) and the table of content uses the hierarchy of the nesting to produce a nice TOC. thanks for help. Calculating a value in metapost, and using it in ConTeXt

Hello, Is it possible to calculate the position of something in Metapost, and to export that value to TeX such that I can use it in setups and things? I thought perhaps I could \def inside btex..etex. With the construct \startembeddedxtable\xmlflush{#1}\stopembeddedxtable placed inside a \midaligned I used to get a neatly centered content. But now the material is shifted to the right, even sticking out of the page. Has something changed in the embeddedxtable alignment handling since the end of 2013? (The embeddedxtable macro was needed because the typeset material exists inside \startbuffer..\stopbuffer.) Hans van der Meer

Force to display page number on the `makeup' page

Hello, I have a special `makeup' for the abstract page: \definemakeup [abstractpage] I also have general `makeup' setup: \setupmakeup[ doublesided={no}, pagestate={start}, page={yes}, ] The footer is available from general `layout' setup: \setuplayout[ footer={16pt}, header={\zeropoint}, margin={\zeropoint}, ] Page numbering comes from general `pagenumbering' setup: \setuppagenumbering [location={footer}] I'm aware that `makeup' pages don't display page numbers even though they can count them with the `pagestate={start}' setting. However, for this particular `makeup' (`abstractpage') I would like to force the display of page number. I've tried \startabstractpagemakeup \setuppagenumbering [location={footer}] ... \stopabstractpagemakeup in hope that `makeup' simply sets `location=' behind the scenes to hide the page number, but it seems that I was wrong. Is it possible to force page number placement for a particular `makeup'? Thanks a lot. Kind regards, Alexander

How to properly `\setuplayout' for several pages and then restore back?

Hello, I have a table of contents that now has grown to span several pages. Before that I used the following setup: \definemakeup [contentspage] \setupmakeup [contentspage][% footerstate={stop}, headerstate={stop}, pagestate={stop}, page={yes}, bottom={\vfill}, top={}, ] \setuplayout [contentspage][% footer={\zeropoint}, header={\zeropoint}, ] \setuplayout [contentspage][% footerdistance={\zeropoint}, headerdistance={\zeropoint}, ] \startcontentspagemakeup \setupwhitespace [line] % ToC \stopcontentspagemakeup and that indeed worked when ToC spanned only one page. Since page breaking does not work inside `makeup', I had ti give it up. Now I try the following: \start \setupheader[state={stop}] \setupfooter[state={stop}] \setuppagenumbering[state={stop}] \setuplayout[% footer={\zeropoint}, header={\zeropoint}, ] \setuplayout[% footerdistance={\zeropoint}, headerdistance={\zeropoint}, ] % ToC \stop Why after `\stop' previous setups for `layout', `header', `footer', and `pagenumbering' do not restore? Is there a way to achieve this or do I have to manually duplicate the setups which were before `\start'? Thank you. Kind regards, Alexander
