(Same blurb as every time:) [Howto] * No special software installation required; most modern browsers should work (WebRTC required). * Open the above URL, accept the privacy statement, * enter your name, * click "join" (or "start" if you’re the first), * click "with microphone", allow your browser to access it, check the audio. * Your microphone is muted if you join. Activate microphone and/or camera with the buttons at the bottom. * Minimize the default presentation with the "screen" button, bottom right. * If you’d like to share your screen or upload a file, you can make yourself the presenter: Click on your user name, change the setting, then you’ll see the "screen sharing" button beside the camera button; also there’s now "manage presentations" behind the "plus" button. Beware there is only one presenter at a time, so don’t kill someone else’s presentation. Parallel columns using start/stop setups

Two concurrent situations can happen, which I'd like to typeset as two parallel columns while keeping the overall page layout (i.e., headers, footers, margins, and such). current version: 2023.07.18 22:07 I'd like to find a way to set up start/stop environments, if possible, to come up with a general-purpose solution (i.e., the prose itself is not changed). Here are a few examples. In the first, a "concurrent" environment is created with two "timelines": % SOT \definestartstop[concurrent][ before={\startcolumns[n=2, align={verytolerant,stretch}, separator=rule]}, after=\stopcolumns, ] \definestartstop[timelinea][ after=\column, ] \definestartstop[timelineb][] \starttext \startconcurrent \starttimelinea \dorecurse{5}{\input ward} \stoptimelinea \starttimelineb \dorecurse{5}{\input knuth} \stoptimelineb \stopconcurrent \stoptext % EOT The ward and knuth texts end up in the same column because one is shorter than the other. How to make words searchable without diacritics

Dear List, I have a lot of latin words in a document with the length of the vowels indicated by diacritics, for example: fīlĭa. Is it possible somehow to make these words searchable without the diacritics? That is, if I make a search for filia in the final pdf file, fīlĭa would also be found? Typing with text wrapping

Hi all, I'm having another issue with my project. I'm trying to typeset fragments of HTML, including tabs and (repeating) spaces. I'd like to have my snippet with some words in bold. So I used `typing` together with the `escape` option. But now, I'd like my snippets to wrap when the lines are too long. The snippets can un over several pages so that recipe[^1] doesn't work for me. Can ConTeXt write its pdf to a different directory?

My .tex file is in a directory within my working directory. I would like ConTeXt to write its output in the same directory as my .tex file. But it writes to the working directory. This was asked 10 years ago: `tex.stackexchange.com/questions/67928/how-to-set-output-directory-in-context-command` The answer given then was to use: `context filename --result=output-directory/filename` But this doesn't work now. When I compile my .tex file, I get a message: `results are to be on the running path, not on 'output-directory', ignoring --result` I've looked in the wiki: `https://wiki.contextgarden.net/Context` Thank you, Peter
