avoiding two lines on last page

Occasionally, one of my components (chapters) ends with only two lines on the last page. Since space is at a premium, I was wondering if there is a way to encourage ConTeXt to put these two lines on the preceding page. I do not have a mwe, so any tips about strategies and commands to consider will be much appreciated. Alan

Forced Page Break in a Table of Content

hi, The wiki documents how to insert a page break in a table of content: http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Table_of_Contents#Forced_Page_Break However, this does not work on ConTeXt ver: 2017.07.27 16:17 MKIV beta fmt: 2017.7.28 The following minimal document does not have the page break. \definelistextra[page][before=\page] > \starttext > \placecontent[criterium=all,extras={2=page}] > \startsection[title={A}] > \stopsection > \startsection[title={B}] > \stopsection > \startsection[title={C}] > \stopsection > \stoptext Can anyone help me have the page break in the table of content? vertical alignment of images in Natural Table

Apologies if this is a double posting. But my first mail never appeared on the list. Hello, I am trying to vertically align images within a bTABLE/Natural Table cell. The result should be 4 cards on an A4 page with a simple maths exercise and a small image that illustrates the exercise. The image should be horizontally and vertically centered within the space after the text. Exercise text and image size vary somewhat, so a fixed placement is not possible. I have tried \vfill, but it seems to have no effect in a Natural Table. Similarly, \placefigure has not worked for me. As basic layout I am using a Natural Table (4 x 4 cells per page, 12 pages), maybe not the best solution. Alternative suggestions are most welcome. Suggestions would be much appreciated. Math: Spacing around colons

Dear List, I need a binary math operator with narrower spacing then the default. My feeble attempts below all lead to the same spacing except for the last one which however is not symmetric. Problems with setfirstline

Setfirstline does not seem to be working well with most fonts, perhaps all. Is this a bug in header marking?

As a followup to my query on suppressing header marking, I have prepared an example which clearly shows odd, if not buggy behavior. The book places chapter openings on recto pages which follow a verso that may have an epigraph. When there is no epigraph, the blank verso is properly unmarked by a header, but when there is an epigraph, the header from the previous chapter appears on the page. Remove header after ToC

I am a ConTeXt beginner. I am having trouble getting rid of the header after the ToC in a document that I am preparing. The following is a simplified version of the document. I get a header with "2" on the left edge, and "Chapter ." on the right edge, on page 2, which is an empty page after the ToC. How do I remove the header on this page?
