Hi, in the function codeinjections.addtransparencygroup() there is a tostring() around the dictionary. This results in '/Group (<< dictionary >>)'. Removing the tostring function gives the desired result. BTW: thanks for keeping this part open. I'm currently trying to adapt my 'codeinjection' stuff and it helps a lot, if you can do this without patching some files. I need to insert stuff into /Info, /Catalog, PDFpageattribute and PDFdocumentcolorspace (guess that's all). Best wishes, Peter

Using verbatim text with combinations

Hi, I am having some problems using two (side by side) frames containing verbatim text. Can anybody suggest the right approach to this problem? As long as indents are at the right position, I can also survive without the frame around the text. git repository

Hi, I don't know if you have noticed that the git repository has been replaced by a newer one. Due to the contradiction between the rather linear development and the non-linear storage in the repository I have chosen that all releases will be in a single branch 'master' and tagged as stable or beta. Please consider the git repository as experimental, at least until the end of the conference in delft. Ruby 1.9.1 and non-ascii char parsing in .tui file

Hi all, A few weeks ago I reported a problem with ruby 1.9.1, which was solved by removing the offending .tui line (Mojca and Hans AFAIR). The problem was related with the existence of non-ascii chars in the .tui file. Sadly it strikes again, now when chars with accents appear in titles (sections, subsections, etc...). The parsing of the line signaled below in the end of this message, from a .tui file, fails in ruby 1.9.1, but not in ruby 1.8.7. The error which is returned is also shown. If I remove the chars with accents from the section title all goes well. I'm using Mkii (--context=current). One of the advantages of ruby 1.8 over 1.8 is tht it is 3 times faster... However, ruby made lots of changes in string manipulation and storing when moving from 1.8 to 1.9, and that must be the source of the problem. I tracked the error to texutil.rb, line 1035: when /^c (.*)$/o then @plugins.reader('MyCommands', [$1]) but then i got lost in the Classes/Modules jungle :-) in that script. Perhaps it is this this procedure, in line 403 of texutil.rb, which triggers the error? def MyCommands::reader(logger,data) @@commands.push(data.shift+data.collect do |d| "\{#{d}\}" end.join) end Thx for your support in advance. \setupfigures does not exist???

Hi, In the manual (page 273) mentions that we can fix figures parameters with \setupfigures, but when I put that, I receive the following error: ! Undefined control sequence. l.233 \setupfigures [before={\blank[big]},after={\blank[big]}] ?x Is this a typo of the manual or bug of software? Thanks, Xan.

I started a small project of ~100 pages and tried to do it with Scribus since it required pictures, inserts, etc. I found that Scribus was not going to be able to handle the task so easily. So I am back to Context. Here is my task: in the right pages, I want the text (~50 pages of text) and in the left pages I would like a picture and a quotation coming from the right page (this quotation I am willing to do manually). My question is, how do I make one \setuplayout for the odd pages, and another for the even pages? I may use pictures that bleed over the upper left corner of the left page. I used the option \placefigure [opposite], which puts the picture in the opposite page, very nice. However, I have two problems with it: it may put the picture in the right page (opposite to the text in the left page), and I can't make the picture bleed because my \setuplayout is for both pages. space between text and formula

Hi, when I use \indenting [yes, next, big] there is no space between a text and a formula (MKII only) BTW, what is the difference between \indenting and \setupindenting ? \indenting [yes, next, big] \starttext Watch the space between this line and the formula. \startformula E = m c^2 \stopformula \stoptext

Latest beta doesn't load modules

Hi Hans, the latest beta is unabel to load external modules. luatools knows where the module is: luatools t-simpleslides.tex /Users/tas/texmf/tex/context/third/simple-slides/t-simpleslides.tex And yet, it claims it's unable to find it (after saying it has loaded the module): system : module simpleslides.tex loaded !
