Hi, I just want to do \underbar{\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ .... \ } for doing something like: __________________ . When I do that ConTeXt does not underbar me the spaces. The same applies for \underbar{\space \space \space } How can I get that \underbar underbars the spaces even? Thanks in advance, Xan. PS: Please CC mail me.

replacing words by underlines

Hi, In the underneath example, how do you get each word replaced by an underline ? formula-style alignment

Hey again, ntg-context. I would like to align one piece of a line to the left, and another piece of the same line to the right, sort of like numbered math equations, except not math. Additionally I would like to do this inside a narrowed block How can I do this? I have tried side-by-side-frames-inside-a-frame but the two pieces of the line just stay clumped together. I have tried '\startalign' and '\(left|right)aligned' to no avail. I have tried '\hfill' but that pushes things past into/past the right margin...

Hi Aditya, Your solution works for normal text following the header. But if I have a framed text with a background, which also has a "before={\testpage[3]}" (\definetextbackground[FramedText][ ...,before={\testpage[3]},...]) and the section starts with such a framed text, it can still go wrong. And I guess it can also go wrong if a section starts with a figure. Is there some way to specify that if less than a certain number of items (lines of text, frames, figures etc.) fit on the remainder of the current page, the next page should be taken? Now it is of course as easy as can be...) - depends on the operationg system and user's backgrouns, too. Those who've used linux/mainframe are probably less likely to be upset by ConTeXt while your average Mac/Windows user may go crazy at the steep start of the learning curve; I'd done some unix and that definitely increased my tolerance. There are days when I swear and yell and curse myself for going over from Word to ConTeXt. But on 9 days out of 10 I pat myself on the back for making the switch. Especially on those styles when MS Word defies all of my attempts to keep a document structurally styled... Hi ConTeXt users, I'm wondering what's the ConTeXt version of LaTeX's "\@." (which indicates an end-of-sentence period). I can define \def\@{\spacefactor1000} and use it, but if there is an official version I'd like to know. Regards, Ryo
