Dear Sirs I would like to include some macros from http://melusine.eu.org/syracuse/poulecl/macros in my luatex documents. Every time i try to include a new example (from papier.mp, par example) i found this old error message:; texnum.mp Unable to make mpx file. init_numbers(btex $-$ etex, btex$$etex, btex ${\times}$10etex in the google i found a old solution for this kind of error, but for LaTeX not for mplib or LuaTeX. Is there a fresh solution for that? Syracuse provide to us a nice solutions for writing maths and physics with metapost. Thanks a lot. Jorge

Problem with first-setup.sh

Under linux it seems that texlua in not +x anymore. Temp. patch: # diff first-setup.sh.orig first-setup.sh 67c67 < --- > chmod +x $PWD/bin/texlua -- luigi

ConTeXt minimals: Issue with file.iswritable and 'Cg'

I use contextgarden.net/minimals/ and the following problems showed up after an update. a) file.iswritable(cachepath) failed. The directory is writable for the user but not for others. I have not debugged why it failed. Affected file: tex/texmf-linux/bin/luatools b) bin/mtxrun failed at line 5013: Somehow my lua(tex) did not digest the Cg: protocol = Cg(V("letters"),"protocol") * P("://") + Cg(Cc(nil),"protocol"), tex/texmf-linux-64/bin/mtxrun:5013: attempt to call local 'Cg' (a nil value) Any ideas? (I removed the readable check as work around and changed the Cg to P as quick work around.) Tobias PS: I use Fedora 6, which is the dated but centrally installed Linux here.

Where is the bib module link?

Hi, If you go to http://modules.contextgarden.net/bib, you get a message that no bib module is avaliable. I suppose that you remove the page because bib (will?) is integraded in ConTeXt release. But, can you restore the link or at least put the documentation module avaliable somewhere? The pdf documentation was very good for consulting options... Regards, Xan. PS: CCme

Hi, For what it's worth: On http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Context_2009.10.27, I noticed that t-bib.mkii, t-bib.mkiv, t-bib.tex, t-bibltx.tex, t-bib.xml, and doc/context/bib/bibmod-doc.pdf as well as doc/context/bib/bibmod-doc.tex are all in the list of deleted files. (along with many others). I get the impression that nobody knows why. Are the new files bibl-tra.{mkii, mkiv, lua} their replacement? If so, is there any relevant documentation? (Not mentioned in the list of new files.) Best regards, Robert Blackstone

underdot in Greek module

In MKII (with the latest MKIV), “!” no longer seems to produce underdots (sublinear dots). \usemodule[ancientgreek] [font=GreekDioxipe,scale=1.15,altfont=GreekCanonica,altscale=0.9] \starttext \localgrk{>a!n!'h!r} \stoptext One can work around this this \d{\grk{...}}, but ... And is there a command or key for producing diareseis in Greek, again, using MKII? Alan

possible to run minimal in cygwin?

Hi all, I wonder if it possible to run the MSWin version of context-minimal under Cygwin. I want to use Makefile and other unix tools to automate my build process. I tried modifying the context/tex/setuptex script, and manually set the platform variable to mswin, but when I ran context.cmd, I saw the following error message. The texmf-cache path actually exists. Any hint? \installlanguage syntax

Hi, I'm student at Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk university and I'm writing bachelor's thesis this year. One part of the thesis is to document language support and implementation in ConTeXt so someone can use it to implement new language. Right now I'm stuck with command \installlannguage. I can't figure out what these parametres are doing: \c!leftsentence=---, \c!rightsentence=---, \c!leftsubsentence=---, \c!rightsubsentence=---, So I'would really appreciated some more info about them.
