How to make a row of text have vertical centering in tabulate environment?

By default, they seem to place each cell aligned to the top, but how can I adjust them vertically so the text is vertically centered just in specific rows? --Joel

How to set the vertical spacing between a sequence of images?

I have code like this which randomly pulls a page from `comic2.pdf` and displays it, scaled to fit \textwidth, then displays four more random pages afterwares. \starttext \dorecurse{5}{ \placefigure[force, none]{}{\framed[frame=off]{\externalfigure[comic2.pdf][page=\randomnumber{1}{34}, width=\textwidth]}} }\stoptext The problem is I need to adjust the vertical space between the images. It seems to be set to some lineheight or such, but I need the distance between each image to be at 1/50th or 0.02 of \textwidth. ...though the last image can have the ordinary gap afterwards. How can I se the vertical spacing between this sequence of image to 0.02\textwidth? --Joel

Hyphenation in multi-language projects

Hi, please have a look at this minimal example. The idea is to set the hyphenation for certain words regardless of the language that is used in the surrounding paragraphs. In this example it should stay: «steff-en» How do i set this to all non-english paragraphs (without using \hyphenation on each language-switch)? Hi everybody, With the latest lmtx, my page backgrounds don’t work any more. I think Otared mentioned that the simpleslides module is having problems. I’m trying to figure out what is happening, but I don’t see any warnings or errors, just unexpected results (which is not a good thing). I’m starting with the fundamentals. Here is a fairly minimal example: compile with context --luatex to see the expected result and with lmtx to see what is wrong. issue with variable font

Dear list, I have the following sample (using current latest from 22022.10.22 11:23): \definefontfeature [book] [axis={weight=700}] \definefontfamily[mainface][rm] [Commissioner][features={default, book}] \setupbodyfont[mainface, 25pt] \starttext \startTEXpage[offset=1ex, align=center] EFT ΕΘΞ \blank[quarterline] \dontleavehmode \externalfigure[commissioner][width=.25\textwidth] \stopTEXpage \stoptext The external figure is the output from Inkscape 1.1.2. I attach the generated PDF document from the source above. The variable font from Commissioner can be downloaded from https://github.com/kosbarts/Commissioner/releases/download/1.000/Commission…. ConTeXt seems to misread the font strokes (paths [or whatever the right name might be]), since Inkscape has no problems with it. Could anyone be so kind to confirm the issue? Formula has excess vertical spacing when in two column itemize

Hi List, I am getting better at adjusting the space in enumerations, but I just put a formula inside an enumeration, and the formula’s vertical spacing became excessive. I’m not sure how the enumeration caused this problem. \starttext Evaluate the following derivatives. \startitemize[n, columns, two, nowhite, after] \item\hspace[big] $\frac{d}{dx} x^2$ This is where the solution should be.
