Enabling PDF bookmarks creates links in red

Hello, I have been playing with the creation of PDF bookmarks and found this page here: http://wiki.contextgarden.net/PDF_Bookmarks_and_Headers So I have tried this (and a few variations of it): % Enable PDF bookmarks \setupinteraction[state=start] % Make chapter, section bookmarks visible when opening document \placebookmarks[chapter, section, subsection][chapter, section] \setupinteractionscreen[option=bookmark] The problem is that all of my cross-references (\in and \about) produce links (which is great) in bold and red, which is not great. I don't want my cross-references marked up in any way at all as I find that quite unappealing when printed. Can I turn that special mark-up off somehow and have normally formatted links instead? xml cross-references in lua?

Hi all, I have a question about xml processing and I think that what I want/need can best be achieved by using lua code, but so far, I'm not really sure how to proceed, so any help from one of the resident lua gurus would be welcome. So: the question. xml allows to provide elements with unique identifiers so that one can add cross-references within the document structure. Here is a sample xml file that shows what I mean: <document> <bibitem xml:id="hagen2011"> <author>Hans Hagen</author> <title>The Meaning of Life Is 42</title> <journal>The Rhetoric of Mathematics</journal> <date>2011</date> </bibitem> <bibitem xml:id="hagen2012"> <author>Hans Hagen</author> <title>The New Meaning is Now 43</title> <journal>High Energy Metaphysics</journal> <date>2012</date> </bibitem> <text> <p>This has been successfully proven in papers by <bib ref="#hagen2011"/> and <bib ref="#hagen2012"/>.</p> </text> </document> [Note: the TEI guidelines add the hash character in the attribute value to such references, but after much googling, I'm still not sure if this is standard or necessary or bizarre.] So: at the point of the reference (which may be empty, like here, or contain text), I want to refer back to the bibitems. The typesetting engine should then be instructed to pick up the information, so that this is, e.g., typeset as "This has been successfully proven in papers by Hans Hagen (2011) and Hans Hagen (2012)." My idea: since the xml:id attributes must be unique across the document, it would be easiest to collect them into a lua table, with the xml:id as key, so their content could be accessed and typeset later. But unfortunately, I have no clue how to go about this... Could somebody provide a pointer? Thanks for your interest, if you've read this far! Thomas

Wrong values for \inputfilename etc.

Hi Hans, when I run the following example (saved as filename.tex) I got in the past this output \jobname filename \jobfilename filename.tex \jobfilesuffix tex \inputfilename filename.tex \inputfilebarename filename \inputfilesuffix tex \outputfilename filename \operatingsystem osx-64 but now I get this output \jobname filename \jobfilename filename \jobfilesuffix \inputfilename /Users/…/filename \inputfilebarename filename \inputfilesuffix \outputfilename filename \operatingsystem osx-64 where the suffix is missing. bibliography: multiple categories

Dear all, is there a way to split the bibliography (at the end of the document with bibtex support) in several categories, which have different headings (similar to what latexs' multibib or splitbib does)? Period at the end of a "alignment block".

I have a macro to typeset function definitions: \define[5]\functionarray { \startalign[n=4, align={left,right,center,left}] \NC #1: \NC #2 \NC \to \NC #3 \NR \NC \NC #4 \NC \mapsto \NC #5 \stopalign } I use it like this: (notice the period at the end) \startformula \functionarray{f}{X}{Y}{x}{f(x)}. \stopformula I get the following error: Display math should end with \Ustopdisplaymath ... If I remove the ".", the error does not happen. How should I implement my "functionarray"? Thanks, André Caldas.

Paragraphs: blank line instead of new line

Dear context folks, I am expected to write a number of texts containing paragraphs separated by a blank line. Is there a parameter/command to set the line break between paragraphs to a blank line between the paragraphs? Thanks in advance, Xenia

Passing variables on invocation- and reading them in ConTEXt

A feeble request from me, again. I'd like to pass variables into context on invocation, just as you can do with setting modes So context --arguments="number=8", "time=full-time" --mode=trial test.tex And have the values of the variables show up in the body of the text, so: ---- \starttext Hello world % This is \getvariables{arguments}{number} it. % this does not work - what do I need here to write out the next line? This is 8. % This is \getvariables{arguments}{time} it. % Nor does this - what do I need here to write out the next line? This is full-time. \stoptext ---- As ever, I've trawled the manuals and wiki and archive emails (which is where the construct --arguments="number=8" came from.) Thanks in anticipation Ian

No cmyk support in MKIV (TexLive 2012 version)?

Trying to define some spot colors using the wiki examples. I get the following error message every time I run MKIV: colors > cmyk color space is not supported Here's the relevant section of my environment file: % Turn on colors. \setupcolors[rgb=no,cmyk=yes,spot=yes,state=start,overprint=yes] %\setupcolors[state=start] % Define the colors we want to use and give a print shop Pantone % equivalents to work with, % set up the cmyk fallbacks \definecolor [PantoneTwoNineFour] [c=1,m=.68,y=7,k=.28] \definecolor [PantoneThreeZeroZero] [c=1,m=.42,y=0,k=0] % Define tints of spot colors to be used in document for coloring text \definespotcolor [DarkBlue] [PantoneTwoNineFour] [p=1,e=PANTONE 294 PC] \definespotcolor [LightBlue] [PantoneThreeZeroZero] [p=1,e=PANTONE 300 PC] I do get the "DarkBlue" in my pdf output but no sign of the "LightBlue" anywhere. -- Bill Meahan Westland, Michigan USA

Search path.

Hello, list! I am really new to ConTeXt. I am writing a book http://topologia-geral.ourproject.org/ It is written in LaTeX and I intend to migrate it to ConTeXt. I want to migrate and I want to be as far from HACKS as I can. So I want to know the recommended way to do things. One of my first difficulties comes from the "search path" used by texexec. It seems to me that the path searched for components, products and environments depends on the path were the script was called from. That is, it depends on the "current working directory". My question (honestly) is: - Why would I want this behavior? When I write a project, product, component or environment file, why would I want the references I made to be dependent on the directory where the script was called? Shouldn't things be like the #include "relative_path.h" used in the C language, for example? That is, shouldn't those paths be relative to the script that refers to them? Am I missing something?
