Dear List! I did this example, which works perfect. vertical offset with "i" in position-command

Hi, When I want to type an "i" in the position-command, there is some vertical offset: \starttext \startpositioning \position(1, 1){i} \position(2, 1){x} \position(1, 2){x} \position(2, 2){i} \position(1, 3){a} \position(2, 3){x} \position(1, 4){x} \position(2, 4){a} \stoppositioning \stoptext Why is it so, and how could I avoid that please? [passing parameter into MPpage]

What is the correct ways to pass parameters into a \startMPpage section? This does not produce a page (obviously if you know how it works) But how to get the intende output? \def\blz[#1][#2][#3]{ \startMPpage draw thefmttext(#1) shifted(10mm, 20mm); draw thefmttext(#2) shifted(10mm, 205m); draw thefmttext(#3) shifted(10mm, 30mm); \stopMPpage } \blz[01][02][AA] \blz[03][42][ZZ]

Metapost: directionpoint gives unexpected point(?)

Hi, I get sometimes the wrong directionpoint. In the example below it works for all values of direx except between 0 and 90. If I put direx to something in this interval, it seems that the point between cs and cl are chosen. Is there a better way to construct the paths not to get this problem? Twenty One versus Twenty-one

Am currently dealing with a book that has twenty-one chapters, and the author (who is visually impaired) follows a range of visually impaired principles when writing and wanting things published. That's the background to my question! MWE \setuphead[chapter][ header=empty, alternative=middle, style={\ssd}, number=yes, conversion=Word, command=\MyChapterCommand, after={\blank[1cm]}, ] Problem is, when we get to chapter Twenty-one (which is the correct way to write it in English) it gives me 'Twenty One'. Is there a way, in my setup, that I can force it to give me 'Twenty-one'? (note the hyphen and the lower case for 'one'). I don't think MyChapterCommand is relevant here, but just in case, this is it: \define[2]\MyChapterCommand% {\framed[frame=on,bottomframe=on,leftframe=off,rightframe=off,topframe=off,align=middle] {\vbox{\headtext{chapter} #1\blank#2}}} Julian

Centered list of authors in ToC

I wonder if someone can assist me with the final step in a complicated Table of Contents where all items in the ToC are centred (except page numbers which continue to be on the right). Beneath each chapter title is a list of authors (Yes, there can be up to four authors per chapter!) I can successfully achieve everything (see MWE below) except for getting the list of authors to split and be centred. Because there are four of them, I would need to split them so they appear as two (centred) with the other two below(also centred). Here is my MWE for the essential bit (which is then called in as textcommand=\SectionTocEntry in \setuplist[chapter], obviously): \define[1]\SectionTocEntry{% #1\crlf% title \midaligned{\doifnot{\structurelistuservariable{author}}{}{\structurelistuservariable{author}}}% } My problem is that at the moment, the four authors appear on a single line, so I end up with: My chapter title Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, Minnie Mouse [p. 1, but in fact, Minnie Mouse runs across the page number!] What I want instead is: My chapter title Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck Uncle Scrooge, Minnie Mouse [p. number] Back at the chapter level my code reads: \startchapter[title={Chapter title}][author={Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, Minnie Mouse}]. Anyone able to help with this? Julian

latest LMTX breaks XML compilation

Hans, using latest from (2021.02.08 17:03) with all my XML sources breaks compilation with the following error: > tex error on line 2 in file : Argument of \xmlw has an extra } How I can detect when ConTeXt uses \xmlw? TEXpage breaks \setupinteractionscreen in LMTX

Dear list, I have the following sample: \setupinteractionscreen[option=max] \starttext \startTEXpage \null \stopTEXpage \stoptext LMTX doesn’t include full page. MkIV compiles it fine. If I remove the TEXpage, LMTX includes the full page mode. I’m using latest version from 2021.02.08 17:03. Could anyone confirm the issue? Many thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk

SVG fonts not working properly

The following examples doesn't work as expected: \definefontfeature[emojis][default,color:svg][script=latn,language=dflt] \definefont[gilbert][file:Gilbert-ColorBoldPreview5*emojis @ 13bp] \starttext {\gilbert abcdefghijklmnpqrstuvwxyz} \stoptext Letters are displayed correctly, but ascenders and descenders don't. It looks like characters are inserted like images rather than actual characters. Am I missing something? Thank you in advance. Jairo :)
