Hi, In Context MKIV I always used the gnuplot module. I switched to Context lmtx on MS Windows but seem to have great difficulty loading the Gnuplot module. Any suggestions? Thanks jeroen

HI, With the recent versions of luamatatex (2020.09.20), in a moderate sized project, I get a multiple messages of on the terminal ........................................... mode = 0 [save] [setmatrix] [save] [setmatrix] [setmatrix] [restore] [restore] [literal]........................................... data = 0 w S 0 g 0 G 0 g 0 G 32.875 67.393234 m 26.511902 72.707367 20.076431 76.811981 13.572296 82.470184 c [etc] ............................................................................................................................... mode = 0 [literal]............................................................................................................................... data = % mps graphic 1: end It seems like metapost to PDF code is being printed to the terminal (not sure about that). I also see messages like: [latelua]..................................................................................... data = function: 0x5585588b4250 [latelua].......................................................................................................... data = table: 0x558557a5ab90floatblocks Any idea what is causing these and how to I disable them. Here is a minimal example for the second message and I can also try to create one for the first: \starttext \startframedtext \startTABLE \NC \input knuth \NC[nr=2] \iftrialtypesetting\else\startplacefigure [location={right,high}, title={Blah blah blah},] \stopplacefigure\fi \NC \NR \NC \input ward \NC \NR \stopTABLE \stopframedtext \stoptext

Here is the lang-txt.lua diff with labels transliterated from serbian cyrillic to latin script. Other files basically do not differ, only codes should be sorted out. A simple table lookup is enough. Going from latin to cyrillic, there are some exceptions, but we could solve that. I can provide Hans with all that is needed. Ivan

troubles with \enablemode

Hi @list, I don't fully understand the \enablemode mechanism. Given this MWE: \startmode[test] \setupframedtext [foregroundcolor=white,style={\tfa}] \stopmode \starttext \startframedtext ceci est un texte \stopframedtext \enablemode [test] \startframedtext ceci est un texte \stopframedtext \stoptext I cannot see the expected effect when I compile, that is both texts are in black. When I compile with context --mode=test both framed texts are in white, which is what I expect. What did I miss? Best regards, Damien Thiriet

Asymmetrical Column layout leads to an extra blank page

Hello All, I am new to this community and am really excited about the possibilities with ConTeXt. My question is related to the thread - https://www.mail-archive.com/ntg-context@ntg.nl/msg92767.html (the suggested solution did not work, unfortunately) After trying out various options, I am faced with these 2 (sub-optimal) choices - 1. Extra Blank page with Asymmetric Columns in the next page (with the \subject{} uncommented) 2. No Blank page with Symmetric Columns (with the \subject{} commented) 3. page=yes / no - does not work (same outcome as above) I am not sure the role of \section or \subject in this matter (seems to be somehow interfering with asymmetrical columnset). \usemodule[newcolumnsets] ... % \subject{} \definecolumnset[soi1][n=3, distance=3mm, page=yes] % \definecolumnset[currency][n=3, page=yes] \setupcolumnset[soi1:1][width=.25\makeupwidth] \setupcolumnset[soi1:2][width=.30\makeupwidth] \setupcolumnset[soi1:3][width=.45\makeupwidth] Any tips, help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. If not for columnset, is there any other way to get this type of layout? Thank you,

Line numbering skips lines

Hi all, in a typing environment, I have the problem that not every line is numbered: \definetyping [code] [numbering=line, escape={@[,@]}] \setupcolors[state=start] \definecolor[nonsigpart][r=.7,g=.7,b=.7] \defineframed[nonsig] [location=low,frame=off,background=color,backgroundcolor=nonsigpart] \starttext \startcode lorem ipsum @[ @] @[foo@] @[\nonsig{bar}@] dolor sit amet \stopcode \stoptext This will number * the first and last lines, containing normal text * the third line containing nothing at all * the forth line containing `foo` inside an escape sequence It will skip * the second line containing a space character inside an escape sequence * the fifth line which produces text with a gray background Why does it skip those lines? This seems really strange as a completely empty line does get numbered. How can I number every line? Regards, Felix

how to set overprint

Hello, whatever I try, I cannot get the overprinting right (checked in Output Preview of Acrobat). Even overprint-001.tex from the test suite (2020-09-19) doesn't seem to have it right (latest beta).
