Hi all, after updating the minimals to the latest beta on osx-ppc, I can't compile any document, I always get this error: context test mtx-context | run 1: luatex --fmt="/Users/tas/context/tex/texmf- cache/luatex-cache/context/5fe67e0bfe781ce0dde776fb1556f32e/formats/ cont-en" --lua="/Users/tas/context/tex/texmf-cache/luatex-cache/ context/5fe67e0bfe781ce0dde776fb1556f32e/formats/cont-en.lui" -- backend="pdf" "./test" This is LuaTeX, Version beta-0.70.1-2011051908 (rev 4277) \write18 enabled. Could not undump 51859 1-byte item(s): <fd:4>: unexpected end of file. mtx-context | fatal error: return code: 1% This happens both with the binary in the minimals (0.70.1) and when I compile the latest trunk (0.71.0), so I'm a bit lost here - it looks like a problem in the executables, right? [bibliography] publications layout

Hi there, in my publication list from the bibliography, every word, except the first starts in small case letters. How can I change this? I am using the beta. regards, finkler

where to put an \index{foo} ?

Hi, either I set an \index{foo} in front of the word it refers to, or after that word: The second can lead to wrong line wrapping when a full stop follows (see Case 1), and the first can lead into a line ending with a space before wrapping (see Case 2). :o( Is there a third option? Non-breakable space in export to XML

Hi, When exporting to xml (with \setupbackend[export=yes]), the non-breakable space (~) gets exported to regular space 0x32. Shouldn't it rather be exported to 0x00A0? Aditya

MkIV : MTXrun | unknown script 'context.lua' or 'mtx-context.lua'

I followed all these steps to install MkIV on a Mac and to run it with either Smultron or TexShop : http://wiki.contextgarden.net/ConTeXt_Minimals/Mac_Installation However it works fine with Smultron (but I am more used to TexShop to run TeX files), with TexShop I get : MTXrun | unknown script 'context.lua' or 'mtx-context.lua' Even after running the following command line : luatools --generate it doesn't help at all. OT: What reference management software do you use?

Dear ConTeXt folks, using ConTeXt and not LaTeX you maybe also use a nice reference management software the main stream does not know about. But probably it is not related to ConTeXt at all since it is BibTeX in the end. I found a comparison in Wikipedia [1] and consider to use JabRef. getmarking and empty chapter number

Hi all, I'm just trying to wrap my mind around why the following doesn't work as I expect: -- \setupheadertexts [] [{\doifsomething{\getmarking[sectionnumber]}{\getmarking[sectionnumber]\enskip}\getmarking[section]}] [{\doifsomething{\getmarking[chapternumber]}{\getmarking[chapternumber]\enskip}\getmarking[chapter]}] [] -- When this encounters an unnumbered \startchapter (say in the front matter) then this \doifsomething should detect this void and in particular not insert the \enskip. For some reason the space ends up in the PDF nevertheless :-( Any ideas? Many thanks, Oliver

Font features for \ss only?

Hi all, how would I make sure that \ss always uses one set of font features while \rm always uses the default feature set? Do I need to specify this in the typescript file? The reason is I'm using Myriad as \ss font and would like to enable the capital spacing (cpsp) OpenType feature for that while activating a different feature set for all \rm instances (Minion in this case)… Many thanks, Oliver
