accessibility of PDF (inter word space

Hello, I am very new in Context and have my first Problems. I read a lot, but can't find the solution. I try to produce accessible PDF. One Point is, that they have to be reflowed in a PDF-Viewer. But if I reflow my documents, there are no interwordspaces. I know that there is no space-character in Tex. I found an work-around for pdftex with an patch. \pdfmapline{+dummy-space <dummy-space.pfb} \pdfgeninterwordspace But how can I do this in Context mkiv? Recommended table environment?

Hello, I have a project where I think ConTeXt really fits well, so I have a first question (after a looong period of absence). Is there a recommended table environment? I give an example in the attached PDF. What I need: * have influence on the column width (2 columns, both same size) * automatic split with repeating headers * more than one paragraph (with fill in rules) in a cell possible (but this simulated by invisible cells) * some borders (not so sure about that...) announcing server change, possible downtime

Dear ConTeXt-ers, in the following days we will piecewise move parts of old server to a new machine (this will happen once again, but this time it might be slightly more dramatic change). Thus I would like to ask you to be patient if something stops working. The wiki has already been moved, so this should not be a problem. Some sites will be reorganized, but I will inform you about details. In particular, minimals will also change, but details will follow. One thing that might be a tiny bit problematic are SVN repositories. We need to upgrade them from SVN 1.5 to 1.7, so anyone using SVN repositories from garden *might* need to do a fresh checkout. I didn't test anything yet though, I only know that I had problems with the client on my machine now that MacPorts upgraded SVN. (I have also found a weird bug in 1.7.1 client.) I have no idea how server-side upgrades behave on clients. This should more or less affect only me, Taco and those who build binaries for minimals. Plus those who work on meeting/group website occasionally. Mojca

xml and lua again

Hi all, again, I'm playing a bit with processing my xml in lua. I want a simple interface for processing tables (I don't need all the power and complexity of cals tables and want to learn something in the process). And I thought that collecting the setups in lua might be the easiest way, but so far, I haven't been successful. Line spacing with a large font?

The title page of a book of notes contains {\tfe This is the title of my book} where I have previously defined \definebodyfont[10pt,11pt,12pt][rm][tfe=Bold at 32pt] However, the title is long and is broken into two lines, which are squashed together vertically. How can I ensure that \tfe uses more interline space? Thanks, Alasdair

Galleries with photos from ConTeXt meetings: any ideas?

Hello, we currently have two old galleries on contextgarden.net (both hidden, no links to them and both password protected). We have additional galleries on Facebook (accessible to a rather wide audience). And dozens of other photos that have never been uploaded anywhere. And some galleries spread all over the place. I have a few questions: - Should photos from meetings be private or public? (The ones from BachoTeX are public for example.) - In either case I need suggestions about the best option to store photos on new server. (Which software to run?) Mojca

Some more ToC questions

Thanks to the great expertise of folk on this mailgroup, I have my chapter headings set so that each one comes out as Chapter n Name of Chapter However, I have a few more questions. First: if I use "completecontent" to display the contents, how can I have the "Contents" title display without my "Chapter" line? That is, is there a way of turning off my chapter command temporarily? (I've found that "title" doesn't work here: If I use "\title{Contents} \placecontent" I still get a "Chapter" line.) Second: I'm writing out a book of student notes, and each chapter ends with a set of exercises. I'd like these exercises to be typeset as unnumbered sections ("subject"s), and appear so in the ToC. Like: 4.4 Second last section 4.5 Last section Exercises What is the best way of doing this (MkII)? I've tried \definehead[exercise][section] \setuphead[exercise][number=no] \setuplist[exercise][headnumber=no] but that doesn't work on its own, and when paired with \definecombinedlist[content][exercise,chapter,section] wipes out the contents completely. Any advice (or even pointers to a web page) would be most welcome. Thanks, Alasdair
